Clarks Inn, Bagalkot

1. Beds are very old not cleaned from long years bad smell. No cushion in that bed. 2. Bedsheets and pillows are not cleaned... Looks black unable to sleep with this . 3. Service team is very lethargic no response..took 1 hour to bring food which is not good... Stret side food is better than this... Because of all this they have a strategy of taking money in advance and not even care for anything...

Clarke's Inn experience in Bagalkot (June 2022) was Horrible. No clean bathroom or Bedsheets. The complimentary breakfast was like they are offering to a beggar. The dish was served cold and no body was there at restaurant. I had call them to serve and they came reluctantly. Better to close this lodge than run like this. I stayed in Hospet - Clarkes Inn, it was awesome, but Bagalkot one is worst. I am planning to stay in Other cities and travel to Bagalkot for my next trip, as all other Lodges in Bagalkot are alike.

The room quality is bad . Washroom.s are dirty. Breakfast - no variety. Grocery used is pathetic . Food is equal to street food .

The receptionist or the individual present at the Front Desk on the night of 11/Nov/'2024 and 12/Nov/'2024 was extremely rude. Their sole objective was to earn money from every situation of the guest. This was a very disappointing experience. The management should be aware of this.

The hotel is not maintained well, the staff can be more courteous, and the restaurant needs a facelift. The location is good, very close to the railway station. However, there is a lot of dust due to it being on the main road/flyover. The pricing can be reduced. We had paid 2500/room per night. The whole experience would have been excellent if the room rent was priced under 1000/night. The first room allotted to us did not have a working latch on the balcony door. So we had to get it changed in the middle of the night when we found out. It is highly doubtful if this belongs to the coveted Clarks Inn chain of hotels.

Possibly worst experience till date. They can't serve tea at 8am and coffee at 6pm. Rooms are pathetic. Families should avoid it.

Pathetic and dirty hotel...not at all worth 2800..rooms look like normal lodge and not worth at all for the money...bathrooms are pathetic..no locks for the balcony door, smelly wadrobes...beware before you book here

Worst hotel near by Bagalkot. Do not fall in trap seeing clarks in. It's a complete opposite side what clarks in gives. Worst maintenance lack of hygiene. And bathrooms are worst, u are lucky if you get hot water.
