Hotel Sohrai inn

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sohrai Inn in Ranchi for two days with my family, and the experience was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt a genuine sense of hospitality throughout our stay. A special mention to Mr. Sanjay Goswami (Sales Manager) and Ms. Zeba (Frontline Officer) for their outstanding and supportive behavior. Their professionalism, courteous attitude, and prompt assistance made our stay smooth and enjoyable. They truly went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Also, appreciation to Mr. Raju (Room Attendant), who was well-mannered and attentive to our needs, maintaining the room with care and efficiency. Overall, the stay felt like a home away from home, and we are grateful for the warm hospitality extended by the entire team. Reception was very welcoming, room service was excellent during the whole stay at the hotel, and the room which I got at the deal was literally jaw breaking plus the complimentary breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay.

This property has both advantages and drawbacks. On the positive side, it boasts a great location, higher-floor rooms offer stunning views and the staff is exceptionally welcoming. However, there are several downsides. The apartment styled rooms have very few rooms that are well-maintained and the family room--advertised for four adults--features two small, impractical beds. Additionally, issues like leaking showers, non functional refrigerator, stained commodes and average-quality food from an outsourced restaurant add to the disappointment. Considering I paid 3,000 for a premium room and nearly 3,500 for a family room, I found it overpriced. I may consider staying again but would negotiate the rates more aggressively given the state of the property.

This hotel is run by scammers. They list there rooms on booking apps for very cheap prices and then do fraud during checkout. They purposefully provide damaged amenities to you while checking in and then charge extra money from you during checkout by laying false accusations on you that you damaged there property. I would advise people to never book stay at this property.

Review after 3-4 stays in this hotel. Service -Usually good but last time it was bit unwell due to allotment of rooms. We could not get our desired room even after pre request for the particular room. Staff is usually cooperative but last time it was not up to the mark. Outside noise of people talking and gathering in the corridor do disturbs some times. You might face late check in sometimes as I did the last time. (Staff needs to be more cooperative and less judging). Rooms- Rooms are way better than rest of hotel in this price range. Spacious enough and washroom is quite big with geaser and continuous supply of waterd electricity. Beds are comfy( 7th floor especially). The sheets and banket are nice it does not comes off easily. Some windows have great view. Internet is good with decent speed. Less disturbance from reception during check out. Location - Bit far from the main market but not completed isolated. It gets quite after 9 pm. But the sweet shop and restraunt below are one of the best in area. On road hotel and easy transport available. I would suggest to try this hotel once if you visit Ranchi.

Rooms are good as per the price. Me and my family members were equally satisfied with the services. Washrooms are spacious. Pictures match the actual property. Views from the rooms are good, they are sunny and airy. Staffs are well behaved. Food served was satisfactory.

Pathetic receptionist Priya. Her tone is so rude and not fit to be in the front desk. She argues a lot and sounds like she is offering free service. Her answer in the end for ordering breakfast, "I can't help".

I m very glad to say this property is nice my room view absolutely outstanding. And our welcome at property very sweetly done by priya and chaya for this thank you so much....all staff is very helpful specially RAJU BHAI....
