Hotel O LAXMI GUEST HOUSE

15th Aug 2024... Go through images first, I am writing this review at 3:40 am and rewrite at 5:35 am.. added some images. I had a very disappointing experience with LAXMI GUEST HOUSE. The room itself was far from comfortable. It was infested with mosquitoes, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I had to spend half the night trying to swat them away, and the hotel didn't even provide basic mosquito repellents or netting. Overall, my stay with LAXMI GUEST HOUSE was extremely unpleasant. The combination of poor service, mosquito-infested rooms, and inadequate facilities makes it hard to recommend this place to anyone. I would strongly advise against booking with Oyo if you're looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Dear Oyo Rooms Team, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to narrate a rather disturbing incident that occurred during a recent booking (ID: TU 474578) for one of our employees who was traveling from Kolkata to Ranchi. While we understand and respect the check-in and check-out timings, we were appalled by the treatment our employee received upon arrival at the hotel. He reached 3 hours prior check in time and requested that he should be allowed to wait at the reception until 12 Noon. The receptionist, in a rare display of rudeness, refused to allow our employee to wait at the reception despite having a valid booking at the hotel. It is crucial to consider the impact such behavior can have on someone visiting a new state and city. The impression left by this encounter was extremely disheartening. Furthermore, we were informed that this discourteous treatment was justified as part of a supposed hotel policy to maintain appearances. However, such an approach contradicts the very essence of hospitality that your industry is built upon. Needless to say, we are deeply dissatisfied with the conduct of the front desk staff during this incident. As a result, we have regrettably decided not to make any future bookings with Oyo Rooms. We hope that this feedback serves as a reminder of the importance of respectful and welcoming customer service in the hospitality sector.
