Food quality is very unhealthy. There is no sufficient Veg option. T.v is not worked, it's just for decoration. Wash room is very dirty. No night lamp in the room. The cooking service is too late. Gizzard charges RS 50 per day per person. But mostly they switched off this service from the main switch. They forced us for an early check out from the scheduled time. They don't provide any hand wash in the washroom.

It's a bungalow with 4 rooms at ground floor, servant quarter converted to kitchen, a shed and few chair, table to eat, part of backyard, 3 rooms on first floor, which are tiny, television doesn't work, just for decoration, set top boxes are disconnected, water, even basic toilet soap one needs to fetch from the staffs.There is nothing at Madhupur, just a small town with a junction station, do not believe on Facebook blogs and YouTube posts, there are so called bloggers who claim anything and everything for a free stay, even for a free meal. Want to see falls, dams, hills, temples? Go to Giridih, Deogarh directly, lots of hotels available, car rentals are there, search in google, you will get a fair idea, don't fall victim to blog posts. No point in paying for a claimed hotel(bungalow) and pay unnecessarily for car rental, all good locations are far away from Madhupur. Food is lame, half cooked, hotel offers per day/per person basis of charge, pointless as you need to travel long distances to see places if you are at Madhupur, so won't be having much food there anyway. Elderly people do visit for a quiet 2 days getaway trip, so can a family with kids, little time to spend, having their own vehicle, since they will have to travel a lot of staying at Madhupur.

Food served on the last day of our stay was very bad, which has led to health issues. Even The condition of the the washroom was poor. Although, staff was very helpful and well behaved.

It is a quite good hotel situated a bit away from the railway station. The staffs are very cordial. The rent includes the food also. The food prepared here is very tasty. The rooms are quite good.

I loved the place. The hosts are very welcoming. The lodge is actually a family home. Expect clean and good rooms with reasonable food rates. Try to have a conversation with the owners. They are really nice.

Room size is ok and equipped with ac and bathroom is too small.Almira door was broken. Torn, dirty bedsheets. Location is good. Host behaviour is also good.

Room condition and toilet condition are very poor. Bed sheet is dirty. Staff behavior is satisfactory.

Good stay. Very good food. Few of the amenities need to improve. Overall a pleasant stay. Try to get the rooms in the first floor. They have modern amenities.
