Sett Heritage Guest House, Madhupur

I had a truly wonderful stay at this serene and peaceful location, far removed from the chaos of the city. The ambience was fantastic, blending the charm of a heritage home with exceptional service that goes beyond typical hotel standards. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, making our stay even more memorable. The rooms were immaculate and well-maintained, complete with attached bathrooms, air conditioning, and fans. The added convenience of an electric kettle, tea cups, and other thoughtful accessories was much appreciated. Traveling with my 2 and half-year-old daughter and family, this place proved to be the perfect retreat. The serene surroundings, warm hospitality, and attention to detail made our experience absolutely delightful. Highly recommended!

Stay is awasome. And their hospitality is also very warm and touching. Indeed , on manager recomendation , we purchased some sweets . It is costs only Rs. 400/-. One Person from Banshi Maharaj sweet shop came and deliver at property in the evening. We are so happy, did not check it. Return home we found all sweets with burnt smell of milk , taste bitter. It may happens that i will not visit madhupur in future, and Rs. 400/ is not a big deal. But the memory of mistrust I will carry , will be painful. An appeal to all person in coordination, your property is beutiful with an enriched history, your people are sincere, tried their best to please all guests... this are really really excellent. But please be careful recommending others.

If one is looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday, Sett Heritage Guest House, just 10 mins from Madhupur Station is the best choice for its quaint old world charm,eye soothing greenery and non polluted fresh air. Beautiful view of garden, huge airy room with all modern amenities and antique furnitures, clean and spacious washroom with geyser, toiletries, towels complete the comfort. Home style delicious food made by Pintu, relentless all smiles service by Pankaj and Gautam and all round assistance by manager Suman makes any stay worthwhile. Can't thank them enough. We spent 4 nights in the 1st floor family room with balcony. My octogenarian parents enjoyed the stay and the extra hospitality provided because of their age. Highly recommended for a visit.

Location: fantastic location away from the chaos of the city. Ambience: Superb and fantastic ambience staying in a place where combination of heritage home and service more than hotel is present. Staff behaviour and service is excellent. Food: Superb quality food with minimal oil and masala. Rooms: well maintained clean rooms with attached toilet. AC and fan both present. Electric kettle along with tea making cups and other accessories are provided. A very well superb experience staying here with family and friends.

As a child I had stayed here with my family, as guests of the Sett family. I remember another gate leading to the house through an avenue lined with eucalyptus trees. I am unable to catch sight , in your website, of this beautiful avenue. I am talking of the year 1959.

We had been here during Holi 2025 for two nights. It was a lovely stay. The place is quaint and charming, exuding a feeling of grandeur and warmth. Fitted with old world furniture the place will definitely take you back to the era when Bengalis used to visit Madhupur for 'hawa badal'. The food is decent as well Special mention - The manager Suman is very nice and efficient. He even allowed us to shift to the room on the roof for a night though we had booked a room downstairs! These small gestures make you remember the place and make you go back! We had faced a small issue during booking though. The concerned person had made us wait a whole 24 hours before taking our booing which caused some anxiety as it was a very busy time... because of Holi and we weren't sure if we could even get a booking anywhere else! But all's well that ends well. And I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent service on time, good food in quantity and quality, good ambience, safe and quite stay and above all kind helpful behaviour of the manager Suman Midya and and staff Arjun. Few things could be changed such as lights and wall paints . otherwise it's economical and worthy..I recommend this place to visit.
