The Alcor Hotel

Corporate family get-together on 19th April 2025. Service was not a problem but food was. Stale Amritsari fish was served. Only batter and no fish. Paneer tikka tasted like cardboard. The cheese triangle should be called oil triangles (didn't have the courage to taste) (saw all guests throw triangles in the dustbin.). Live counters were okeish, and their service was slow. Very disappointing food. Alcor is NOT a good choice for corporate get togethers. Find a more professional place which serves good food. They tried to avoid feedback even after repeated complaints. They heed attention only after threatening them with Tripadvisor feedback. Avoidable.

Amazing service and food.Room was very spacious,well ventilated and clean. Nook restaurant is really nice and price is totally worth it. I would like to stay here again if I visit jamshedpur again. Location is also good and safe.only area that can be improved is washroom.. they can be more clean otherwise they are also good.

The food was amazing and the waiters were sensible. Taking time out after a couple of years to leave the review. The restaurants run 24/7 and that was very notable and convenient. The services are top notch and accommodating. I remember having an issue that I had ordered something in the restaurant which was only available t guests who stayed in the rooms. The management in the restaurant was particularly not aware that we indeed stayed in the rooms and ordered it. We were later suggested that the dish we ordered would take an extended period of time to be served. It's kinda weird but it was ages ago. I am leaving this review because I liked the place. I noticed a few higher ups being harsh on their subordinates and that is absolutely not appreciated. You can correct mistakes with dignity and respect. Please be kind. Additionally the security guards spoke rudely to the cab I booked for myself in a condescending tone. I hope the abuse of power is checked because it heavily reflected through the interactions and service. During my stay Charlie was one of the receptionists. Absolutely flawless service. The rooms could have been a bit better in terms of the interior but it's very neat and timely serviced. Wonderful.

I stayed for 3 nights, first night I book the available suite and it was incredibly nice "Love it". Next 2 days in a room and its also nice. Love lobby floor restaurant (BF & Di). The staff were very much friendly. Highly recommended..

We have been staying in Alcor since it opened up. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The hotel has many restaurants and each one of them provides world class food. The taste, quality and quantity, all are great. Hotel staff is courteous and every service required is taken care of. Great location too. Very close to Bistupur market and Jamshedpur central. Always recommend.

Wonderful service nice maintained property special thanks to Mr. Sumit Chandra from reception for his outstanding service throughout my stay & giving the rooms as per my choice. The food was marvellous & the service was awesome. Must visit if someone is visiting Jamshedpur.

An excellent hotel and strongly recommend for stay. We stayed for 3 days & booked two rooms.Very well maintained , amazing food and service. The puja special menu was superb. The staff at front office , restaurants , housekeeping were extremely courteous, dedicated and knowledgeable.Need to mention the names of staffs like Subodh Sinha, Apoorva Mondal & the lone lady ( unable to recall her name) who was managing the housekeeping alone throughout the day and working extra time in the evening...of the entire 5th floor on the 10th, 11th & 12th October 2024 were exceptional. These kind of staff help customers to return to a hotel repeatedly. Even the security staff at the entrance helped us clean our car twice.

It's a great place, everything from the room to the food to the service was par excellence. I would be amiss if I did not specially mention Mr Bijay Behra who went out of his way to accomodate all my requests. The hotel is comparable to any top hotel in any city.
