OYO Hotel Satguru

Very poor management and communication. We requested to cancel the a part of the reservation with a 10 day notice. When talking to the owner, the language used by the owner was foul and unprofessional. They tricked my mom and dad (senior citizens) and didn't explain the cancellation clause properly. The management may reply to google reviews to show that they care for your concerns, but the in-person experience was disappointing. I am a local resident of the neighborhood when this business is, Don't come here, go to other places in Bistupur.

Very service from the team, when room door locked and key was inside after we informed hotel team said we have only one key( No spare key) for opening the room they broke the door lock and charge 1500 for new lock. Service team argue with us. Poor management My suggestion avoid the hotel.

Was here for one night, attending a marriage function nearby. Small passage but the rooms were good. Comfortable beds and clean. It is situated at the Middle of the market at Sonpari West, atm and banks nearby. Not bad for a short stay.

The rooms are fine enough for the price...but the service is just bad. We had 6 rooms and none of the TV worked and there was a World cup match at night and the response was "Manager toh chala gaya", this was around 8 pm. Carry everything from towel to soap, even water...dont expect anything from the hotel staff. Attached is a pic of their "big room" with 3 single beds...forgot to take any other pics.

Please DO NOT book this hotel from OYO or any other online platforms. I had reservations of 3 rooms for 3 days. After reaching there they refused to give accommodation for 3rd day. The manager is very bad in nature and intentionally won't receive calls from OYO customer support. Even OYO can't do anything instead of refunding for the stay. The manager didn't allow us to check-in even when we agreed to stay for 2 days. He told OYO will update the booking and then he will allow. After arguments with OYO he allowed us. We were 7 people (4 person over 60+ age). One hotel staff Mr. Jadav was very helpful and he attended us well. Others were most disgraceful. Cons: 1. Very small room like cages 2. Bathroom draining issue 3. No fooding option in hotel 4. Cleaning staff is not regular 5. No private parking place.

Good facilities are available in this hotel. Location is very good for travellers. User friendly staff with good customer service. Bathroom could have been neater. Complimentary stuffs like soap, oil, towel, powder etc were good. Room quality is good and spacious. Good budget stay.

I stayed in Hotel Sadguru, SBI building, Sonari, Jamshedpur for 3 days.. Everything was fine but there was no RO or filter (in working condition) to provide clean drinking water to the guests.. I would like to request the owner of the hotel to kindly provide clean drinking water to the guests.. Bottled mineral water should not be the only option.. U r responsible to provide clean drinking water in your hotel.. So, please keep a RO in working condition.. Best of luck..

We had bitter experience at this hotel.. We booked for two rooms via booking.com. It was 8:30pm we reached to the hotel. On arrival they started asking for extra money even though we made booking using our credit card. On denying extra money they did not allow us and asked us to cancel our booking. It was 9:30PM by then and we were clue less. We went for visit to jharkhand but really did not except such kind of behaviour. They are very unprofessional and faced rude behaviour from the staffs. Upon agreeing to pay extra money we asked for GST bill. That too they denied. In such situation we decided to left that place. Other things: in websites they are mentioning they have parking but its a false promise . They have open parking on road which is very risky.
