Hotel Chandrakala Regency - Best Hotel in Dhanbad/Best Hotel in Railway Station Dhanbad

The location of this hotel is probably the good feature. It is really nearest to Dhanbad Railway station. Only 300 meters away. After getting down at Dhanbad station you have to exit from the No. 7 platform then you have to walk 3-4 minutes to Purana Bazar and there you can find this hotel on the 2nd floor of the market. The hotel is decent and you will find some market noise there. The rooms are standard and good. The rooms are also very clean. I was there for one day because of the railway technician exam. And the problem was I was not getting any hotel after knowing my examination city. After searching a while I got this hotel at a decent price. I booked from GoIbobo using a coupon and get this by 1300. I booked AC double bed room. Before going to Dhanbad I was informed by one of my friend that he will also join with us, and after reaching the hotel at the time of check in I told at the reception that one person will join with us. They are very polite and give us the three bed room with the addition of Rs 500. There is free wifi in the hotel which was not very fast but at least worked. Food is not included with the booking. Food was little bit expensive but okay. And I got a working table, charging point and sink is also here.

While my North East ride from Odisha, we wanted to stay some where we could rest for the night and after calling few hotels we found this one and tbh it was bit expensive for a 3 bed room and just for the night but it was a good stay and owner was really helpful. They even let us park our bikes in their underground parking. A good hotel in the heart of the city.

Decent hotel in the middle of chaos. As this hotel is in the market, you will be given free access to classic market noise. The rooms are okay. And yes this hotel is 300 m away from the Dhanbad railway station, if you exit the station from the last platform.

I have given 4 star out of 5 for his room & room services. Room are net & clean. one star is cut due to location & no lift services otherwise they are vey polite and co-operative. Room charges is decent. His owner also behaves well. Room - **** Room services - **** Location - ** Food - ***

Very helpful staff. Just behind dhanbad railway station. Walking distance. We had a kid and we used the kitchen and they never objected. Had an awesome stay. Right in market area. Economical too

The owner Dipak Chawhan didn't keep his words in respect of the charges of a room (AC but Kept it switched off as contracted). I booked this for the period from 11am 7th November to 5pm 8th November '22 for total RS 1500 as contracted over telephone and accordingly he sent me a stamped and signed receipt through WhatsApp but he compelled me to pay RS 2200 during checkout at 5pm on 8th November '22. Otherwise the stay was good.

The hotel is quite near to the Railway station, so much so that you can just walk to it in like 5 mins from platform 8. I was in Dhanbad for just 10 hours and my train from Howrah reached Dhanbad @1.45 AM (in the night). I had booked a bed in the dormitory they have and it cost me around 350. Everything was good about my stay except the toilet. I would have loved if they had a western Toilet, but they had it only in the private rooms and not in the Dorm's toilet. So I had to request them to allow me the use of a toilet from one of those private rooms, as they have lot many rooms. I am happy that they obliged and made my experience in Dhanbad pleasant, as afar as stay was concerned.
