Grand Mumtaz Spa Resort

I love the place, very very good hotel with nice people and very good service. Food was another highlight of the hotel. Mote items in buffet and the taste was also good. Finally the location, near to the Gandola ride location. Place fully covered with ice and gives us a very beautiful experience to enjoy the chilled whether. Thanks for the people over there who makes my tour as a memory for the lifetime to cherish.

We were there for 2 nights in Dec 2023. The room was clean and cozy. The staff had ensured the room was warm when we checked in. Staff was very friendly and helpful Food was good though it was standard North Indian dishes. They could have some local dishes also in the buffet.

Top notch location! View from the hotel is mind-blowing. Loved my stay here. If you are planning to visit Gulmarg, do consider to visit this hotel. Staffs are super friendly, all the basic amenities provided along with room heaters, android TV. What I loved is the food here, Delectable! Their Buffet also has wide range of choices for food and is priced at 1000 (inc. of taxes) per plate. Gondola ride - cable car is a 10 min walk from this hotel. It has a small garden/park which adds beauty to this place. It's safe and sound, and really beautiful! P.S - false location on Google maps. If you follow it, you will be taken to Grand Mumtaz in Tangmarg. Please call the hotel before your visit. It is near fluorescence hotel, opposite Alpine Tree hotel. One thing that needs to be fixed is the shower which didn't work properly, used to give sudden burst of cold and hot water simultaneously, otherwise overall experience was great!

I had an amazing stay at Grand Mumtaz Resorts in Gulmarg. The resort's ambiance was delightful, creating a serene atmosphere throughout my visit. It is located in serene location surrounded by beautiful landscapes and snow covered mountains.The staff was not only friendly but also went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The food was exceptionally tasty, and the resort maintained high cleanliness standards. I want to express my gratitude to Mr. Furkan from the restaurant, whose exceptional courtesy and high-end service made my dining experience truly memorable. His attentiveness added an extra touch to the overall excellence of my stay. Highly recommend Grand Mumtaz Resorts for a fantastic getaway!

The hospitality and service were great. All the staff were friendly and available. The rooms and washroom need an improvement. We upgraded the room from deluxe category to executive suite, room heater was not working. All the rooms are designed in old style and heater is outdated. The room service arranged the blower but unfortunately it was not able to heat the entire L shaped room. We could not sleep entire night because of cold temperature.My family got ill. Next day morning the shower didnt had water or the flow was minimal. Management must think of putting electric heaters, centrally controlled electric heaters or ac which has heater option.Not happy with rooms but staff is courageous. I am not coming back again and would not recommend as well.

Poor wifi, bathrooms are not cleaned to level of 3 or 4 star hotel. Feels like lodge. Fail to maintain temperature of rooms. Service is at the cost of tip. On the other side food options and service at restaurant is excellent. If there is no snow then location is at walkable distance from cable-car/gondola.

Overall experience was not good. Room was extremely cold and the blower was not working. There was a space between window and wall through which cold wind was passing . The food quality and service was extremely poor. They charge you for king size and gives you a feel of street side dhaba.
