Sheen Woods Riverside Resort & Spa

We were here for a cycling tour. We stayed for 2 days(Aug 2nd, 3rd). The only reason why I chose this place is, deceived by the pics and location. While the location is good, the service by the staff here is utterly poor and if possible can be given negative rating. The service is so poor that when some influential person visited this place during our stay, the staff and also the people of that local influential person started controlling us like dont do this, dont do it here etc. We were simply stretching after a cycle ride and that too was objected. The blankets, pillows and comforters are also not clean. The staff who serves food also has no politeness and talks rudely when we ask for something. The owner is taking the advantage of the location and charging a bomb. It is not at all worth the money we paid here.

Posting this review so late, but it's better to post than never. Amazing place to stay, we stayed here this year in May month. Photos will explain more better than my words and it will awesome if you experience being there. Staying was great, next to river inside tent. Food is available and you can even order in odd time with restrictions of items availability. We stayed for two nights. It was chilly in the night time but bed is available with heater. Small request for owners - it would be great if hot water will also be available on request in the early morning time. Overall great stay here with lots of memories.

We were a group of 4 mothers with there tween daughters so total 8 people. After so many second thoughts we finally were in sheen and it was the best decision. It is very safe and comfortable. The service is top notch. Location and food is 10 on 10. It's a life time experience and must say tents are super clean including bathrooms.

Very Nice Place with very poor facilities and poor services. No hot water in 2 degree temperature , 25 leter common geezer to provide hot water to whole cottages , Bed warmer is only show piece in non working condition , water supply in bathroom is restricted time. hotel manager is Badtameez. They cnot provide mineral water in rooms and in dinning . Totally Satyanash of beautiful property and beautiful location by poor services.

This place is in Sonmarg, this place is surrounded by mountains and in between, once you see this place, you will forget even the seven star hotel. At this place you feel peace of mind. Going to this place makes your mind very good. You must visit this place once. Here you feel heaven. You must visit once.

The place offers spectacular view where you can spend your day by the river sindh. But if I consider the price and the amenities they have provided, I will never suggest anyone to go there. They charge hefty amount and do not provide even basic amenities like hot water/ bed heater. At -2 degrees how can you expect to not provide bed heaters or hot water. The food was also not great. I would say it mere average. If you really want to enjoy your view there just sit around some place near the river but dont waste your money on this stay. They don't even have any power backup and they say you might get hot water in the morning... apparently I didn't even get a drop of hot water throughout the day and I ended up being sick with severe fever due to absence of any of the amenities promised and struggled in the cold weather.

I don't usually write reviews but these place made me write it the minute I checked out. The place is very calming and peaceful. We stayed here for 2 nights the weather is very good and the staff is well behaved and cooperative. Overall the stay was excellent and we enjoyed a lot.

Superb Location. Good Tents. Average Food, Helpful Staff. Location is the USP for this property. You can spend a couple of hours taking snaps at this property. Dinner was average, could be much better. Break fast was good though. Stay cost is expensive though. But enjoyed the views and Location a lot. Can hear the noise of flowing River from your tent.
