OYO Hotel Jammu Palace

The only plus point about this place is its location. Besides that, the rooms are shabby, dirty and to some extent even dampness can be felt. The inside rooms are dark with no outside view. The room service is just about average.

Costs a good amount for one Night but the service is not upto the mark; It cost me @1500/Night for 3 Persons, but the room doesn't have an single hinge window that you could open to get some fresh air from outside. Simply there was a zero ventilation setup. Bedding was soiled and the washroom was full of dirt. It was my first experience with oyo and got to know what actually it can offer... The experience was nightmare. Booking was done through Oyo. Upon reaching midnight we were asked to cancel booking and pay in cash or look for another place. Pro: easily accessible but there no parking as mentioned Cons: small building with narrow corridors and steep stairs. No escalator Doors loose. Don't get locked without hatch. Doors are transparent covered by a thin cloth. No privacy. Also the light from corridor disturbs sleep. Rooms are too small without any ventilation. Bed is old which makes lots of creeking sounds. Not finding words to describe mattress and blanket. Smell is intoxicating. Furniture if any in the room is in dilapidated condition. There is no almirah to keep it luggage and clothes. The tv in room is old fashioned without electricity and internet connection. There is no wifi available at hotel. There are no basic things available in washroom. Even we had to ask for towel. No soap no brush no toothpaste. Shower not working. Please don't visit.

I don't even getting this that y are peoples of jmmu are so insist to give high rating for such an annoying place and the staff and the location of that hotel disgusting. ....seriously if i will get a chance i will definitely closed it at first step save ur time nd money dont even visit

Awesome location poor service poor environment

These 3 stars are all for the staff and non for the hotel, the hotel is in shabby condition, locks of the main door to the room aren't functioning properly. It took me 1 hour to get the door unlocked with the help of the staff and the manager. The staff is polite and good however the cleanliness which Oyo provides assurance of wasn't observed. This hotel should be closed or should be maintained otherwise the customers will suffer.

Nice stay. Restaurant(first floor) waiter need more improvement on behaviour. Rest of the staff is good. Khajuria room boy is a good person. When I left my mobile charger in room they helped to handed over to my friend.

Very very very cheap staff shameless persons with their shameless behaviour nd attitude pls no one can go their very bad staff especially unmarried couples can not. Go thier because they demand more much rupees. On oyo I book this hotel at rupees 600 but they don't allow me to enter thier they ask me for more 1500 rupees for enter. Pls stay away from this hotel. Go to another hotel pls. This is humble request from me to couples
