Jewel Paradise Cove Beach Resort & Spa - All-Inclusive Adult Resort

I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, with very friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything went smoothly. The facilities were good and met all my needs, making the experience comfortable and relaxing.While I was disappointed not to have oxtail at the buffet, I did get to try it at the Platinum Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious, so it made up for it. I also had a fantastic time on the glass-bottom boat ride, it was such a fun and unique experience. The Christmas Day activity was another highlight, it added a festive touch to the stay.Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good service, enjoyable activities, and a relaxing atmosphere.

We just returned from our stay at Jewel Paradise Cove and we did not want to leave! The food was, by far, the best we'd had at an All Inclusive resort. We were always excited to see what was available at the buffet, or to grab a delicious coffee (grab your cold brew with some rum cream added, you won't be disappointed!). Don't sleep on the Seaside Jerk Hut! Fresh jerk by the beach was such a treat, especially when paired with a cool drink! The service was absolutely outstanding. We really loved all the staff we interacted with and the vibe was perfect for our vacation. The facilities are well-maintained and while most areas were lively, I never felt like any one area was too busy or crowded. The room we stayed in was roomy and the shower was huge! Overall, we had such a lovely trip that we're already planning when we can go back. Absolutely would recommend!

This was my 3rd visit to Jewel (2nd long-stay). It's a great go-to spot. Love the cheerful environment and friendly staff. It's good for a quiet solo escape. One MUST try the Radiant Spa while you're there.. and if you do... ask for Naseala -- She's amazing!! ||||I will say though that they do need more variety on the buffet menu (particularly the salad bar) but overall this visit was well enjoyed, and I'm always happy to return. Will recommend to anyone looking for a nice boutique-type tucked away all-inclusive resort in St. Ann, Jamaica.

Went to the Jewel for a quick Christmas getaway. Stayed for six days and quickly ran out of steam. The hotel staff was pleasant, the food was plentiful but lacked imagination and flavor. The alcoholic drinks were very weak. Good thing we stopped at the Duty Free upon landing to score a bottle for the room. ||The beach is small and shallow because it's really a bay. No trouble finding a seat but get out there early for a shade spot. The pools are great, good music and atmosphere. ||The one thing I found concerning is the amount of tipping going on. At an all inclusive tips are shared with staff because of above and beyond service. Not for simply doing their jobs. Because of this tips are quickly expected for every drink served and every smile given. People were even tipping the omelet station guy. I mean that's what he does make omelets...||The whole resort needs a refresh but then again it is a get away not my home; so all in all its a 3 star compared to other places we've stayed in Jamaica. Probably won't return to this particular Jewel.

This is my fourth visit to The Jewel, and I have to say--it never disappoints! From the moment you arrive, the staff is laser-focused on making your stay truly unforgettable. Whether it's the friendly faces at the front desk, the helpful concierge, the attentive dining staff, or the amazing team on the beach, every single employee I've encountered goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. Honestly, if I ever stayed anywhere else in Jamaica, I'd want this team to be there--they're just that amazing at what they do!||The food at the restaurants? Consistently delicious. The grounds? Impeccably maintained. And the sunsets from the beach? Absolutely breathtaking! If you're considering a vacation in Jamaica, I wholeheartedly recommend The Jewel--it's an experience you won't regret!

Stayed here for New Year's 2024-2025. We showed up a day late due to delays (which Jewel helped us with -- they rearranged our shuttle from the airport and made it so easy for us in a very stressful moment), not expecting anything special for the holiday. ||Imran greeted us with rum punch and cool washcloths and made us feel right at home, along with the rest of the staff, who were, without exception, SO NICE. Everyone clearly took pride in their jobs and was very kind. We loved Terry (Bar from the Drink) and had a chance to chat with her for a while when it was slow one afternoon on the beach. Travane served us some lovely rum cocktails on our final night in the piano bar and gave us advice about local shops. ||THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD everywhere we ate. The jerk hut, Coral Cafe, Platinum, and the hibachi grill were all great. Chef Frederick also personally welcomed us and consulted with us on food allergies (peanut allergy and celiac). ||We didn't meet the general manager Barbara but we saw her around the resort, which we thought was a good sign, and the staff seemed to have a good relationship with her. ||The resort is smallish and the guests were also very well behaved, as far as we could tell. We didn't see anyone get disorderly. Most of the guests seemed to be between 30-60. ||We were so glad we came to Jewel instead of to a place like Sandals. It wasn't perfect (one of the outlets in our room didn't work, the mirror had some chips, little things like that), but what the staff is able to do with what's available is amazing. And they put on a really charming New Year's Eve party; they had clearly put a lot of time, thought, and work into it. ||I wish we could name every person we interacted with because they all did such a great job. Thank you and we would love to come back someday---and spend more time there.

Below standard rooms. Outdated and over used. Toilets flushed 50% of time and shower leaked everywhere. Liquor drinks were basic. Anything upgraded was being charged at 8 US dollars. Beer was being served warm at best and in a dirty plastic cup. Food was also basic with no effort by this resort to do anything special or different at Christmas breakfast or dinner. Total lack of effort. This resort seems to cater to the "day use" locals from 9 am - 6 pm. Good luck getting service by staff at the restaurants near the pools because they will be busy catering to the local users above the tourists who have paid huge to be there. Totally a frustrating resort to be at for 10 days. Feel cheated out of a large amount of $$. This was our 4th time to Jamaica and we have never experienced such substandard food. No seafood anywhere unless you want to pay for a private meal including a bottle of wine, but get ready to pay the "extra" again. This resort is all about saving $$ and overcharging for what you believed you already paid for. I would not recommend this place for a vacation. Go elsewhere!!

The Jewel Paradise Cove is a small outdated all inclusive resort and hours drive from Sangster International Airport. This is an older resort so you're not going to find the "most updated anything" the rooms are older and a bit beat up in some areas though they are very clean. The food is kinda of hit or miss. I've always enjoyed myself. I come for the scenery and location. Tons of trees and plants. You really feel like you're in Jamaica. Yes I wish it were more modern in areas but I do love this place even though I'm giving it less than 4 stars. I'm just being honest! Come to the Jewel for beauty enjoy the quiet in this truly unique property!
