This hotel is awesome!! |I'd read some bad reviews but think they were either incredibly picky people that would find fault anywhere or just had some bad luck. ||Food is great! The buffets are amazing and had everything you want with great table service for drinks. We found we didn't need to buy any expensive wines as the house wines on the ai were all good. Cocktails were decent too. ||The staff are great! Always happy and engaging. ||There's plenty of quiet spots by pools and beaches and the main pool has a fun party atmosphere so you get the best of both. Drinks service to your sunbeds in most places too which was great. ||I find hotel entertainment pretty cheesy most of the time, but thought the entertainment was excellent too when we wanted to engage. Some great shows and music was decent!||All in all was a fantastic holiday. Big shout to all the staff as they are all great. I'd definitely consider coming back to Bahia Principe Luxury. Only think stopping me would be wanting to try other hotels but this one is excellent and well worth the money. ||Thanks to all the staff for ensuring we were good at all times and for providing such good service!

This was a fantastic all-inclusive experience! The resort is beautiful, with lush grounds and a stunning beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was diverse and delicious, and there were always plenty of activities and entertainment options. We especially enjoyed the pools and the lively evening shows. Definitely recommend Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica for a relaxing and fun vacation!
I traveled solo & really enjoyed my stay for 4 nights. I was a little wary about booking here due to reviews but this resort itself & the staff were great, 5/5. The grounds were beautiful & the beach was perfect, 5/5. The room I had was a king ocean view on the 7th floor, views were phenomenal & it was very clean. I ordered room service once & it arrived fairly quickly, quality & taste 3.5/5. ||My only complaint is mainly with a la carte restaurants, I couldnt even get a reservation for 1 at the Knife or Dolce Vita & I tried to do all my reservations on the app the day I arrived. I was able to reserve dinner for Don Pablo 4/5, Picasso 3.5/5, Rodizio 4.5/5, & Mikado 1/5. I also ate at Jazmin & buffet by the pool, which were really good & better than Mikado or Picasso. Jerk chicken & curry goat were really good, exceptional really. If I knew, I'd prob would've had dinner at the buffets instead of Mikado or Picasso. ||I also indulged in an anti-aging facial (80mins) & a Jamaican Experience massage (80mins) at the spa, back-to-back. Maheel provided both services & she was phenomenal. I think I slept through a third of my services, that's how relaxing & wonderful they were. My body felt rejuvenated & relaxed, my face was glowing, soft, & smooth. I highly recommend indulging at the spa.
Been coming here a couple of times. This place does not disappointed. You can get some real authentic Jamaican food. We stayed during mango season which was great! Friendly staff throughout the resort. Great for my 4 years old to run around. The staff at kids club are amazing. Will definitely be back !
We had a wonderful time at this resort! The grounds were beautifully maintained; our room was clean and spacious. Can't say enough great things about the food and drinks! The buffets were fantastic and we tried four A La Cartes and all were amazing! Would definitely recommend.
Went here last July but thought it would be good to share our experience here. We went as a family of 5 and the room we got was absolutely stunning and had a gorgeous view of the beach. The food was pretty good, breakfast was probably the best thing there and the beach, pool and some of the service we received was phenomenal. The entertainment was also exceptionally great at night, specifically the musical entertainment and movie nights. They also always had gorgeous music playing at night which was so lovely. For the not-so good parts, we were celebrating my Father's birthday and looked with our travel agent to see if we could get anything special like a simple banner on the room, which was confirmed. When we arrived, nothing was there... We called again to see if they could do anything they said yes. Again, the days following there was absolutely nothing... We just gave up and booked a reservation instead to celebrate. Booking reservations and asking for things seemed like a hassle. Every time. When I called and asked to see if we could get more blankets as our room was extremely cool (which is good in the Jamaican heat) but we couldn't turn it down. I heard the receptionist mumble, "Jesus Christ..." and then gave an annoyed "Yes, someone will come over to your room to get you some blankets..." Then hung up. The times we tried to book a restaurant further on was either the wrong time or the incorrect number of people. Which is completely okay. Everyone makes mistakes but we confirmed several times so there wouldn't be any mishaps in this case. We did have a few people who were absolutely phenomenal and took very good of us during our stay but overall it just seemed like getting anyone to help was a hassle. (Also be careful with the timeshares here.) We would go back again, of course. The resort and the place itself is what made the trip worth it. There is always good and bad. We just hope that there is some changes and improvements in the future.
My vacation got off to a rough start with an A/C system in a room that seemed to be no match for the tropics, front desk staff that seemed averse to answering the front desk phone, and an attempted upgrade to the luxury property that never occurred. Thankfully, a front desk manager intervened and got me an upgraded room that saved them from a horrible review. Outside of that, the exterior property is quite stunning, food is commendable, and upgraded rooms are lovely. This is an older property but it is quite stately. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but would like to see the front desk staff receive better customer service training.
All of the staff were friendly and had great manners! The location is nice, the beach access close to the main pool is very dirty, however there is another beach behind building 18 , it seems to be cleaner. The rooms are very dated. Old beds, old showers. They have a 27-inch tv in the rooms that's blocked by the bed post. Lots of roaches in the room. (and hallways). We filed a complaint with the privilege club, which we PAID to be in, and nothing was done even though housekeeping was promised. We never got the privilege banner on the door as promised as well. When we got home, our luggage had to remain outside to ensure we didn't bring any roaches back into our home. Very inconvenient. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
