Half Moon

May 2025 Review. I guess my early review never went through. Anyway, I left it below and we are back. I will elaborate more after our vacation, but wanted to come on and thank Sancia from the Spa for her excellent care of me today. I'm suffering from hip pain and she worked on my hips and back and reassured me that she would be careful. I'm always nervous when I get massages because of my back, but she was so amazing, I extended my spa treatment to include CBD oil treatment and scalp massage. I left feeling grateful and relaxed. Not only is she great at her profession, she has a beautiful soul. We exchanged our life stories, and embraced. It felt like a blessing from a beautiful young mom. |Thank you for today, I will extend to others at a later date my gratitude for the Jamaican people at Half Moon. I love being back. ||Older Review: |My husband and I are home from our relaxing vacation at Half Moon, and I wanted to share our feedback. We arrived on Saturday, September 16th, and were greeted by your friendly staff welcoming us back, and preparing us for our stay. We couldn't have been more pleased with our spacious accommodations. From the suites bedroom, living room, bar area and living room we felt comfortable, relaxed and ready to start our much anticipated week at your resort.||We both were pleased to have the golfcart which made it much easier to make our way to beach since we were not going to be staying in the cottages as initially planned. Although those areas were closed, we received impeccable service at the beach from Terry, the Regina's, and the gentlemen that set up our towels each day. We did miss the infinity pool, but the construction was minimal to only one day of drilling. We enjoyed our lunches and services on the beach, and with all your staff being friendly and helpful, it made our daily visits to the beach even better. ||Above all, we want to stress how kind, professional and accommodating your staff is. Every single person we encountered from in-service dining, delivery, housekeeping, gift shop, restaurant staff, bellhop was top notch, and treated us with respect. The staff greeted us throughout our stay with a smile and asking us how our vacation was. ||We dined two nights in the restaurants, but realized early on that we really enjoyed using our outdoor patio and in-room dining area. ||Our check-out process was flawless, and upon leaving my wife stated, "until next time." We really enjoyed our stay, and hoping to come back and experience the cottages when the amenities are open in that area. ||The best vacation.

Our second stay at this lovely resort. Peaceful and quiet which was much needed. Front desk staff Pat and Gabrielle very pleasant and helpful. Grounds are well kept and continuously being well kept throughout our stay. Room is clean and comfortable. All staff are welcoming, polite and very helpful. Restaurants are nice and the food is good. Praises to Andrea at the Cedar restaurant who took the time to talk to us and was an exceptional waitress. Omari and Danielle at Seagrape cooked a mouth watering delicious omelette. The pumpkin seed, pecan and multigrain bread are the best breads I have ever eaten. Thank you to Andrea for recommending the multigrain bread this visit when she wasn't able to get the pumpkin seed bread at lunch for me one day. A lovely stay and can't wait to return later this year.

Half Moon is a beautiful property with friendly staff. We had a clean room with amazing view. Resort amenities - pool, tennis, spa were good. Food was ok. One downside was the high prices and service charges. Go prepared for this and you will have an enjoyable time.

The resort and grounds are beautiful! The best part of the stay though was the staff. EVERYONE was so friendly and accommodating. They honestly went above and beyond. They made us feel so welcome and we will definitely be back! Richard and Fitz at the Bell stand made sure we got to all of our events on time!

This resort never fails to exceed our expectations it is always the highlight of our time in the Caribbean best staff and food... highly recommend Halfmoon. We have traveled many islands and stayed at many resort including Anguilla, Bahamas, grand cayman and Turks and Caicos but Jamaica is bar far the best island and punch's way above its weight... Best coffee in the world (blue mountain) an incredible art and culture scene, created a whole genre of music in reggae Jamaica is NOT the all inclusive island it's the Best Island when you come and stay at Halfmoon Bay Resort. Better than any four seasons on any other island mentioned

We spent our 6th trip to Half Moon at the Rose Hall Villas located on the East end of Half Moon resort. This was the first time we have stayed in that part of the resort and it was EXCELLENT! The staff provided by the resort was the finest care we could have found anywhere! Shevor was our butler, Miss Beverly was our cook and Jeanette was our housekeeper and they were FANTASTIC in every way! We were a group of 8 adults and 7 children ages from 1 to 10 and those 3 became part of our family that week. We couldn't have asked for more a more professional, courteous, warm and friendly trio! I would highly recommend requesting them if you plan to stay in one of the beautiful Villas at Half Moon. The trip was the absolute best vacation we've ever had and those three helped make it so!

My stay at the Half Moon is hands down the greatest place I have ever been. The location of the resort is some of the best I've been at with such beautiful scenery in every direction the room was immaculate. The thing that made this stay even more enjoyable was the amazing staff. From Brianna at the desk checking us in and teaching us about the island's culture, to Jerome and his staff taking excellent care of us at the Managers Social, to Floyd topping off the night with great service at the Cedar Bar & Cafe, to the countless other staff members who I wasn't able to get their names to acknowledge them. This was the most hospitable, welcoming, and truly enjoyable stay I have ever had.

The highlight of Half Moon for me is their great staff. They are naturally warm, welcoming, generous in their service and naturally caring for the welfare of their guests. The guys at the gates are very professional and makes you feel like family. The maids and cooks are all great humans. I must highlight Miss Esmie Sinclair, one of the maids. She is a great asset to Half Moon. Very humble and decent person who you would want around you all day long! Whoever hires for Half Moon is doing a fantastic job! Keep it up!!
