Sidhowal Lodge

It was a pleasing experience at Sidhowal lodge.. The location is great, right next to the church and top of Mall road.. Service can improve though... Things you must know: Parking is not available at the lodge.. so travel light. There are less room amenities, and no power backup.. The staff was courteous and helpful... Limited food items on the menu.. but the price was reasonable... You get a lot of good options at a cheaper price right outside the lodge...

Rooms are spacious, Location is excellent, walking distance from church. Service is ok. Furniture requires maintenance.

Best Hotel experience. Good food. Location is both advantage and disadvantage, since it is a good location on top of hill, but carrying luggage is horrible

Incredibly beautiful place. It will give such a good feel , and will definitely make your trip memorable. and mark my words :- Please order the in house food for Breakfast lunch dinner because 1. It's the best food around the Mall Road 2. And very easy on the pocket . 3. And gives a royal and a homely feeling Will definitely go there again when I have the chance

Great vintage style rooms. Location just close to mall road and ridge. Good service. Mall road doesnt have autorikshaw or any other transport service. Car parking available at lift car parking . Then take lift to mall road and walkable distance from there. Safe for family and kids.

The place is well located above the ridge. It is close to almost all attractions: lakkad bazaar, Ridge, Mall Road, Jakhu and Kali Bari temple. The place gives an old Victorian vibe and maintains the vintage look quite well. Rooms are big but need slight upkeep. The caretaker is friendly and hospitable.

Great place to stay. The view from balcony is awesome. The lodge is located behind the Church at Mall road that is the heart of Shimla. The interiors inside the lodge are maintained properly. The lodge seems to be from any haunted movie. I enjoyed my stay here.

Best location adjacent to church at mall road.. Thnx Bank of Baroda for this awesome place arrangement. There are eight rooms in this lodge out of which 5 rooms are reserved for bank of baroda. This building is a heritage building of Himachal Pradesh. Location of this building is perfect because it's adjacent to church and at a distance of 100 meter to Shimla church. It's well connected to all tourist attractions and rooms are very nice and perfect. Eating food in stay rooms is strictly prohibited because it's heritage building. If you want to eat food, go to common hall for it. Staff of this building is friendly and helpful. It's worth visiting place in Shimla. There are 3 days sufficient to visit this place.
