Hotel Mount View Shimla

The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly managed.The hotel seriously needs to evaluate options for improving general cleanliness.Had one of the worst experience in my life.Staff are terrible front desk guys were worst and indifferent. Rooms are worst quality. Room was dust central, dust had settled everywhere and even after us wiping it off with some baby wipes it would re settle. Under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust looked like it had been forgotten about by the cleaner. You wont be able to sleep on bed, it looks as if something was going on the bed just before you checked in. The first thing you would notice after checking in is big jhoomar and some nonsense illustrations on wall in the rooms. Its actually a "ayaashi ka adda" for the people of Pluto which is also located in Shimla. They are collaborated in some way. The hotel part is just for namesake. Do yourself a favour by not going there. I wish I could give zero to them

The only OK thing about this hotel is food. Food is OK and of basic menu. The hotel is kind of on hill. Cars cant go to the hotel and will drop you on the road. We need to walk on the high road to get there. No parking for cars. It would be tiring and difficult to do with luggage and everyday when returning back from sightseeing. Room condition and maintenance is pathetic. Service is bad. No lift to use if the room is on 3rd or 4th floor. The staff will take the luggage to your room only if they are there at reception. But you wont find any staff at reception most of the time. So you need to carry your luggage. We informed them that we will checkout at 5AM and need help with our luggage but even then they locked the main gate and no staff at reception. So our driver has to come for our rescue. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very Bad Experience. In day one they fight with us regarding food and services. In day two they behave nice, food is good in taste. But they promise for the morning breakfast and in morning no food no service. We need to carry all luggage by our own even hotel is not on road. My personal suggestion is please cancel the booking if your reading this after booking. If your are ready for self service you can stay here. Good For nothing Thank you

I wish I could give 0 stars. Rooms are very small, you could have never expected in Shimla.. This isn't a hotel but just like an apartment building which is situated at very height where vehicles also can't reach upto.

The most pathetic and unhygienic hotel I have Ever seen... It's not hotel at all, I call it as a "Dharmshala" with biggest loot of customers money... Staff are useless and mannerless.. They take the order, keep us waiting for hours and then deny to provide the item ordered... Hotel rooms are unclean and the furniture is almost 20 years old... Guys never ever book this hotel...

Very very pathetic services... Frst day they fought us for food!!! Second day he behaved nicely ... Third day he said us that he will give tea early morning and make our luggages bring down!!! But shocking !!the guy didn't wake up Atleast 100 bell ring we were ringing!customers woke up!!guy didn't!! It's on the road!!cars can't go inside!!! If you have booked this hotel!!pls cancel this after reading!! With us many customers were fighting for unhygienic!!dirty curtains bedsheet!!! No professional staff!!! Worst worst ever!!!

Strongly Not recommended. If you are getting this hotel for free also you should not go. It's too dirty and they are moving your luggage and personal belongings with out informing you. I have booked the hotel and my room was not available when I have reached Shimla and they have given the room after 3 hours from checkin time. Please don't go find some alternative. If you will book with meal I promise they will not provide you.

One of the worst hotels I have ever seen. And with their food quality i must say don't dare to eat anything as you may have met with any disease like food poisoning or loose motions etc. As i have seen their service and hospitality so I will never ask any of my relatives or known to visit this horrible hotel.
