Ragini Guest House

Place has beautiful roof top restaurant with the best view. Mountains, Naggar castle and the snow-covered peaks, enjoy them all with the good food they serve. I would appreciate if they improve upon their service a bit - serving water on arrival, promptly passing out menus and taking orders. We personally loved the olive and sundried pizzas and frappes and visited multiple times during our stay. We enjoyed working from the roof top while devouring the food too.

The rooftop restaurant has a lovely view of the snow capped mountains. The service was very slow but the view kept us enthralled. The food though was very good and tasty. The grilled trout was made to perfection. Not a place to go for a meal if you are in a hurry.

The service we got was not hospitable. They charged heavily for lassi but gave a very weird tasting lassi to us that literally had some vegetable taste. (Probably grinded in some vegetable grinder that was not properly washed). What's worse is on telling them this they were least concerned and said this is only how we provide lassi without even bothering to taste it. We had to recommend to add sugar to atleast make it more edible. We have gone there 2-3 times and the order has always arrived super late. Today was the last visit there and never again going at a place where they rolled their eyes at us in spite of us paying for such bad service and food.

The food was so SO good and worth every penny. We tried the chicken steak with mushroom sauce (the sauce was the star!), spinach and cheese lasagna, farmhouse pizza and spring rolls. Each and every dish was delicious and very well prepared. We tried the nightingale cafe too but this one was more worth it! The owner is the same as of the german bakery adjacent to it. It's a rooftop restaurant so the views are pretty amazing too. Must visit.

We were just roaming the streets in Naggar near the Castle searching for a good place to eat and suddenly we were intrigued by the specials board at Hotel Ragini which had some Italian dishes.. we were welcomed by Rajeev who greeted us with a smile. We ordered the chicken lasagna and the pasta pesto salad with tomatoes and olives and couldn't have been happier that we did. Both the dishes had amazing taste and authentic flavours, and the view made the whole experience holistic. Also, the prices were reasonable so no complaints at all. Okay Must try!!

This is a cosy place next to Naggar castle. Genuine smiles, simple, clean and great service. If you want a place to relax just go to the rooftop restaurant and get the chef do whatever you want, your style, he will try his best. You should try their trout preparations, lasagne and the grilled chicken dishes. I bet you will fall in love with this place. Enjoy the morning on the rooftop with breathtaking views of the mountain range with a cup of hot tea or coffee. I have been here several times and I'm never bored. Each time I get a sense of home away from home. Enjoy the castle and the art gallery nearby, you would love both the places. Few nice restaurants next to it. A nice cafe, wine shop and small shops for gifts for your loved ones.
