Chanderlok Guesthouse

We stayed here for 4 nights. Ridhi made our stay comfortable. She has good knowledge of things around and guided us to the best places. The uncle over there has great stories about naggar and Himachal. She suggested us to visit kasheri which is a great place in its own near by naggar. The rooms are comfortable, clean, the helpers changed the linen often. Kept the space very clean. The views are stunning from the mountain facing rooms. We had bonfire every evening. The food is simple and home made style. I recommend this place for the chill vibe, calming surroundings, in house temple is an additional bonus.

It's such a beautiful property to stay at. Ridhi, the host was extremely cooperative and helpful. With the lush green and breath taking views of the mountains, the property was really a treat to eyes. Thankyou Ridhi for everything, will surely visit again.

It's such a beautiful property situated in the lap of nature, serene, quiet.. if you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful holiday with nature away from the city's hustle definitely go for it.. property is surrounded by mountains, it has very beautiful lush lawn/garden where you can spend quality time with your loved ones, very old temple in the campus is it's topping.. rooms are clean with mountain view, host Riddhi is such a nice soul, very friendly and cordial, they provide freshly cooked food according to your taste.. Overall staying there was a memorable experience..

The best stay Naggar has to offer if you're looking for everything in one place. The garden is stunning while the property manager, Bhargavi, makes sure that everything is maintained in the property to the best capacity. I personally didn't see any flaws and felt the place was worth every second. Honestly, I came across this guesthouse randomly as I was exploring the village on foot but it turned out to be best of experiences :)

The current owner, Bhargavi, is a total badass and amazing person. She manages the property with her whole heart and provides the best of amenities. She's an authentic Gujrati in terms of her menu while having other mouth-watering options for food. The garden is truly a wonder at this place. It's an experience to wake up to. I hate to write this review as I'm literally exposing a potential second home which I would love to have to myself but the appreciation is well deserved.

Nice location. Beautiful temples in the property. But drive up from the main highway is scary. Food was very very oily. Served almost cold and with strange serving spoons. The cutlery and plates are like those of a dhabha. The garden is pretty but full of mosquitoes. On the whole a very basic guest house with lots of scope for improvement. The only caretaker was very efficient.

I stayed in the property for 3 days. The property looks great from outside with its garden, apple orchard, old temple. But the rooms are not at all maintained. The washroom was average clean. Apparently there was free breakfast with the booking, which the owners did not bother informing. Overall I feel the new owners need to be a little more warm and hospitable. The parking was another issue and is paid parking which was not mentioned. The caretaker was good and cooked good food and was helpful.

The guesthouse is feeling of home away from home. It lets you pace your day exactly how you want; read a book under the shade of a Korean maple or take a bus from the river to the bustling markets of Kullu or Manali. Great value for money and a pretty picturesque vibe define the overall experience. The hosts are helpful, the Uncle (owner) is resourceful, and rajma chawal delicious!
