Iris Cottage & Cafe - Manali

Recently stayed in this location. I will highly recommend you. The service was Top notch. The room were so clean, and the Staff was so friendly. The owner Jaipal was really really calm and friendly. I really like this day, and I will recommend everyone to pay a visit. There is a beautiful sight of mountains from the cafe, even the food of Cafe was good

Location is awesome and absolutely convenient. People are very good and cooperative. Services are bit slow and the staffs need to get bit training in terms of proactiveness. Staffs should be much more attentive to the formalities. Owner of the property is a very gentleman and he was present there for a very little time but was always available over phone. We stayed there in the cottage for 2 nights with absolute peace.

Pros: - Parking is there with limited space - location is good Cons: - In the suit also no heater provided which is bare minimum as there will Be less than 0 degree. - Increasing price even after confirmed. - service is not good. - Room was avg. - 500rs for heater per day. You will get much better stay nearby with many facilities.

This place is truly a hidden gem and one of the best stays we've experienced. We visited here in December 2024, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The host, Jaypal, is exceptionally kind, humble, and attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting Nitin, a sweet and cheerful kid who added a lot of warmth to our stay with his lively presence. The food here is absolutely delicious, offering authentic and fresh home-cooked meals that we couldn't get enough of. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, each dish was prepared with love and care. The location is stunning, surrounded by breathtaking views that are perfect for relaxation and soaking in nature's beauty. The also provides bonfires on request --it is the perfect way to spend chilly evenings, sitting by the fire and enjoying the serene atmosphere. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing hospitality, great food, and picturesque surroundings, this place is the perfect choice. We can't wait to visit again!

"An Exceptional Stay - Highly Recommend!" We had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The hosts (Jaypal and Sachin) went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They graciously allowed us an early check-in and even let us keep our luggage after checkout, giving us the freedom to explore the city without any hassle. Its just 1.2 kms from Mall Road. The food was delicious, and the view from the balcony was simply breathtaking--a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. Both the host (Jaypal) and the caretaker (Suraj) were extremely polite, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel truly welcomed. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manali. Thank you for such a memorable experience! Definitely way better than very costly hotels. I'm thrilled to share my second stay experience at Iris Cottage in Manali, two years after my first visit. Everything about this place still impresses me - the location, views, food (especially the Kadhai Paneer, one of the best I've ever had), and more. I'd like to extend special gratitude to the owner, Mr. Jaypal, who went out of his way to help us plan our trip and experience live snow. He's extremely polite, courteous, and welcoming. The hospitality at Iris Cottage is top-notch, with impeccable rooms, staff, and pricing. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Manali. Its prime location makes it easily accessible to major spots like Mall Road and the Volvo Bus Stand. Everything is conveniently nearby.

Super location and very spacious. This is a large property with many orchards , and multiple building which are either used as homestays or personal use. The heritage cottage is quite nice but we decided to stay in the new building. Construction and upkeep is just ok, not great. The room size is good and balcony is a bonus for killing time or bird watching. Food at the inhouse restaurant is not great but can have if there are no options. The walk to manali bazar is around 15mins. Parking is just only for 4 cars and there is a 2 mins walk from parking to rooms.

I have booked this property for 3 nights but I am very much disappointed. There was no electricity and no power back up in the cottage. The people working in this place don't know what hospitality means. Very careless and casual attitude towards guest. The owner is only looking for money and doesn't care about guest. Please don't book this property if you are going for a holiday. I will not recommend this place.
