I really loved to stay in this homestay. The place and aura was exquisite. Some things I really appreciate was the food and the view. Related to food here was authentic and mouth watering. The sight there was eye catching. You could see various flora and fauna, beautiful to see. At last I would declare that my vacation here was mesmerizing.

The best place we have been to in a long time. Beautiful location, amazing surroundings, and such a welcoming family. We extended our stay by 1 night just to enjoy the place a little extra and even then we didn't feel like leaving this place. Food was home cooked and was delicious. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet stay in the lap of nature.

Rooms are very neat and tidy. Excellent service by the serving staff. Lovely location if you want to get away from the crowd. Beautiful ambience, almost a home away from home. Finally the hosts are just amazing people, welcoming you and making sure that you are absolutely comfortable in all respects. And last but not the least the culinary skills of senior Mrs. Jamwal is just awesome. That surely is one of the main reason why we might come back. A must visit place for people who wish to relax and enjoy the beauty of himalayan nature.

I was invited to the Jamwal Villa by the wonderful family that runs the place. Manish and his very lovely mother who everyone addresses as Buji. Jamwal villa is surrounded by hills on all sides and the raavi runs right next to the house. But what struck me as soon as i entered the house was the warmth and generosity of the Jamwal family. Manish is so deeply connected to nature and his spirit of adventure coupled with a genuine concern for people and plants and animals is beautiful. His mother is an extraordinary person. Warm, kind and a brilliant cook but her most striking feature is her humility and self effacing nature.Her traditional food is enough reason to go there!! She cooks herself and serves you herself, its is a beautiful experience.!!! Living there was truly special because you feel surrounded by people who carry within them the spirit and beauty of the hill folks. While Chamba and particularly Mahela is a beautiful place, personally for me, getting to spend time with Manish and Buji was a privilege and a very special experience, i will cherish for the times to come . If you really want to experience a place and its culture and its people Jamwal Villa would be a perfect place.

Lovely location sitting in a valley overlooking a river about 60 feet away. My favorite part is they have an adorable Labrador who went out with us to the river and walked with us back home. The hosts are really warm and have nurtured their backyard so well, you'd want to hang out longer. The room is a nice size with a balcony overlooking the river and snow capped Himalayas. Perfect!

Beneath the heart of Chamba with a great location on the banks of River Ravi. The facility is clean, bright, well appointed with Superb homely service. The rooms are spacious with a nice scenery. Food is awesome, served with a great love. Everything regarding the stay has been awesome. Thank you Mr. Manish for a memorable stay, would definitely love to come again!

This place is really very great place. surrounded by Mountains and nice view of River. Very Good service and food at Jamwal Villas. Good place to go with family you will enjoy the weather. Special attractions for kids Birds, Rabbits & Swings. Really value for money stay and the owner of this villa Mr. Manish is very kind and co-operative.

I have stayed at various homestays in Munnar, Coorg, Kinnaur and North East but I came back with a different bonhomie this time. I stayed at Chamba for the first time (before that it was Khajjiar and Dalhousie) but our stay with Manish for 2 nights was like visiting a close relative after ages. The warmth and care extended by him was overwhelming. The love and hospitality is in the air of the property - right from the location, to aesthetics of the home and utterly exquisite traditional cuisine.
