jibhi Resort

No electricity, no power back up (power back up only in restaurant), when there is electricity the voltage fluctuates. Now this is something you expect in a remote stay, but when i specifically contacted the owner before the stay he assured me that all this is available. The bathrooms are bad and the rooms, not too good either. The property is not maintained. The owner is rude and tried to blame me for a leaking hand spray which started leaking on day 1 and despite me informing him of the same that very day. I asked for an early check in which i was assured i will get and yet i was made to sit out (in the cold) for around 4 hours before i could check in.

I planned to stay in this property for 3 nights with my wife & 5 years daughter but after reaching the property we were surprised of its ages old site without any kind of maintenance. Whatever pictures the property owner is showing on Airbnb all are fake, nothing is found like that there. They showed us all the cottages to choose and didn't find a single one comfortable. - The bathroom is worst, only working tap was of hot water and the tap is stuck with the wall so couldn't get water in a bucket properly and if you want to mix cold water then you need to collect it in mug then mix in the bucket. - Pressure jet wasn't working. - Even electric line is open at the back of the hut, so take care while staying there. (don't use geyser while switched is on) - The food quality is worst, even paying whatever they charged the cost. - You need to climb the property using uneven managed stairs. (don't recommend for seniors or those having knee problem). We've checked out this property after spending a night there & mashed up all our planning or spending good time in Jibhi just due to this uncomfortable stay. Personally, Mr. Satpal is a good person, but this would be great if you could manage the property and at least deliver good food when the guest haven't any option around 1 km.

I would not recommend anyone to stay there. They don't have any idea about hospitality. Basic amenities were lacking. 1) No warm water 2) teared bedsheets and weird smelling blankets 3) Most important they don't follow any hygiene. They don't turn on the refrigerator, don't cover cooked food ( lot of mosquitoes were lying over food) In general, I really had a really bad experience. I booked it for 7 days and left after 2 days due to lot of problems I was facing.

It was a horrible experience for our family , no electricity there when we reached we were told there was some issues with electricity and it will be resolved soon, but in fact same area other places had electricity. We had no other option but to leave the property immediately they didnt refund our money as we had booked it through trippon holidays. Stairs were worst of all ,In fact reaching there seemd like a trekking. And except us there were no other people satying there that was very scary, if some one reaches there at night they will feel worst condition as you cant think of going down the stairs and no transportation available near by.

We had Wonderful time. Great view from rooms ...rooms were clean and specious. Some electricity issue as this is little outside from village. Food was really good. Staff was helpful

I have visited this place recently and stayed for 5 nights with family. We loved the location and view. As jibhi is a offbeat location, in comparion to that this prop is located completely in nature. Food was very nice. Satpal is a nice person who tries to resolve issues asap. However we got service issues and with water quality. Property should be more maintained. Satpal ji, hope on our next visit will see it more maintained.

Excellent environment. Calm, serene... Truly amidst nature's lap. Polite and respectful staff. Resort owner Mr. Satpal made things super easy. Cottage was beautiful and cozy. Loved it

This place is absolutely stunning. Having your morning trees amidst coniferous trees, while listening to the sound of Jibhi river is an experience to die for. The cottages are situated on the top of a hill , surrounded by various fruit trees. Our host Satpal Singh was very nice and warm. Gurdayal singh took care of all the necessities and was very nice to us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
