The seating area on the top is just wowww! The view from here is just mesmerising! Better to plan the visit in the evening as that's the time you can actually feel the aesthetics and the view!

Hotel Shivana Hills in Solan is a dog-friendly gem with delicious food and excellent service. The staff is welcoming, and the availability of car parking adds to the convenience of staying at this lovely hotel.

Very bad experience. Went for breakfast, only two tables were occupied, even then service was atrocious. Food was cold, tea was asked with the breakfast but it came later and again cold. When we were about to get up and leave for another place the manager said please sit Sir, I will look into the matter. We were forced to stay as he was apologizing a lot, he himself went into the kitchen and supervised the preparation of the order we had placed but again the same story, everything was cold. We just kept quiet, ate what was placed before us and asked for the bill. Manager did not let us pay and said as an apology your breakfast is on the house. We thanked him and left. I Don't think I will ever again visit this place. Probably their cook and waiters might be untrained. Thanks again to the Manager though but the owner should look into this matter, pay their kitchen staff and waiters better and hire neat clean and trained people, after all with the food we eat the clients should not fall sick because of their negligence.

This hotel is amazing and supperb. Specially the staff member and the manger of the hotel is very kind and welcoming. They speak very softly. Miss diksha and the other service boy is too friendly and professional. The food quality is superb. And the presentation of the food is too amazing. The taste of the food is super delicious. And the main thing is the staff member and the manger of the hotel is too helpful that makes your stay comfortable. Specially thanks to the manager at the reception and miss Diksha and the other service boys. Highly recommend this hotel.

Food was delicious.. rooms are big and clean. There is a roof top restaurant with decent view . ||||Staff polite. Overall good experience. Would recommend if someone wants to take a pit stop at this place.

Alright, I usually don't write negative reviews unless it has really bothered me, and this time it has. I know it's a very lengthy review, but do read it before you visit this place and then take your decision. I am sure some of the local people of Solan might be able to relate with this review. For me this was one of the finest restaurants in Solan (only because of its food) until my last visit. People who visit this place regularly know that service here is a bit on the slower side (even on regular weekdays when it's not that crowded), and people let it go because the quality of food served is quite good. But I feel the restaurant has started taking its customer for granted. Like it's not a big deal for them if customers have to wait for a long time for their meal. The same happened with us (me and family) during our last visit. The service was so pathetic that not just me but various members of the family had run out of patience. If it wasn't for my cousin's birthday, we would have left the place quite early. But we decided to stick to not to spoil her evening. Can you imagine they took around 45 mins to get the starters and another 45 mins to get the main course!! And when we complained about the slow service, they unapologetically came up with an excuse that there's a party going on the terrace and that's why the service is slow. Really dude! I am not suggesting that you shouldn't offer terrace parties. But make sure you have enough staff to manage both restaurant and the party. Why should a customer suffer if you want to make some extra cash?? And once this ordeal had finally ended, I wanted to write my feedback in their review book. And guess what, there was no feedback diary available. I know it's common for Indian restaurants to not to have diary for customer feedback, but the point is this restaurant used to have it. People who have been here since the early days of this restaurant will attest to it and know I'm not lying just to make my case stronger. I guess the number of negative reviews were increasing day by day and they decided not to offer customers the feedback diary anymore. Hence, I was left with no other option to write a lengthy boring review on internet. One star is for the food and only for the food, which I have to admit was quite good as usual. But, they have to seriously improve upon their service, otherwise there's no point serving a nice meal when the customer has already died of hunger at the table.

Several times I have been to this place everytime the experience was pathetic the food service was slow the staff was unfriendly I recommend not to go to this place and save your money instead.
