Stay was decent at this place. The place offers great view of the hills, which makes up for all the other difficulty the place has to offer. Positive - Great view of the hills. Negative - Room service is poor with all basic amenities from bottled water, toiletry missing. Specially when you have to walk 1.5 km to fetch these basic items. - Food at the restaurant is sub par and should be avoided - Carrying your luggage to and fro is a big headache, as the hotel is stepply located and one has to walk through stairs.

Google Review (Reframed for Clarity & Impact) We stayed in Room 202, and the experience was quite disappointing. 1. Poor Room Conditions: The mattress was torn, and the blanket was visibly used and dirty. 2. Lack of Basic Amenities: No bottled water was provided, which is a basic expectation. 3. Denied First Aid in an Emergency: When we asked for first aid, we were given lame excuses like, "Wo to bhaiya nahi hain abhi, kab ayenge pata nahi..."--a serious concern in case of an actual emergency. 4. No Housekeeping on Consecutive Days: The room was not cleaned, and neither were the cheap-quality toiletries replaced. 5. Subpar Food Quality: Masala tea was nothing but flavored water, and the breakfast was stale and tasteless. 6. Deceptive Pricing Practices: They promised us a discount for extending our stay but later denied it at checkout, arguing with us. 7. Inconvenient Location: The hotel is located between McLeodganj and Dharamkot, making guests dependent on them for food. Taxis charge extra due to the difficult location. 8. Difficult Accessibility: One has to climb many huge stairs to reach the hotel, which gets exhausting. 9. Unprofessional Staff, Especially the Manager: While most of the staff was okayish, the manager (or some senior staff member) was extremely rude. 10. Unethical Billing & Aggressive Behavior: At checkout, they added 130 without explanation. Even after we paid to avoid conflict, the manager banged his QR stand on the reception desk, creating an unnecessary scene and leaving us with a bad experience. Final Verdict Not recommended. The manager is rude, quarrelsome, and harsh, making the overall experience uncomfortable. The poor service, deceptive pricing, and lack of basic hospitality make this a place to avoid.

"Wo to bhaiya nahi hain abhi, kab ayenge pata nahi.." 4. On the sec consecutive day, room was not cleaned and neither were toiletries (cheap toiletries) provided. 5. Masala Teas were just water. And breakfast appeared stale and were tasteless. 6. Promised us discount for extending our stay and at the checkout argued with us, and denied any discount. 7. Loaction is above Macleodganj and below Dharamkot, so one has to depend on them for food orders and everthing. Taxis charge extra for such hard location, being in middle of two places. 8. So many huge stairs one has to get down to reach hotel and then climb again, gets very tiring. 9. Staff was okish but some manager (some senior among them) was the rudest. 10. Fought with us for Rs. 170/- surge out of thin air. He didn't stop even when we paid him that extra 170/- to avoid conflict and pleaded not to spoil our trip experience at the checkout. He banged his QR-stand on his reception desk, after receiving that extra payment (actual bill was already settled with his staff) No one ever does this! Conclusion: It is definetly not a good place for family. Manager is too harsh, rude and quarrelsome.

*THIEF THIEF THIEF* The hotel does not have their own parking and when you ask them they say you can park on the road and it's safe. So, i parked my thar and someone stole my projector fog lamps worth 8000 and hotel staff knew my car was parked their. They simply said you shouldn't have parked. I have filed a police complaint.

Had a great experience out there. The owner and staff were too polite. The view was amazing. Definately value for money

Pretty serene view(day as well as night views are amazing) of the valley from the hotel with proper services. Waterfall is also visible from the hotel as it is located on top. Food was also good both quality and quantity wise. Proper room service. Accessibility can be an issue here, as it is around 10 m downside the road leaving stairs as the only way to take and around 1-2km from the main market. And streets do not have light so it is lil off at night if want to go outside. Other than this the place is amazing with breathtaking views.

I had a fantastic stay -- the rooms are clean and have a great view. The bathrooms are also brand new. The cost is very reasonable and the location is fantastic if you want proximity to TIPA and the Tushita meditation center. I will definitely return.

Bad experience!! * Beds are cheap * Staff sleeps throughout (in case you need some help or something at night) * Bad management (My bed was taken by another person and i had my stuff removed from my bed I was sleeping on a few hours ago, I come back and BANG! There's another dude on my bed and i don't know where my stuff is. I ask him he goes the guy at the reception gave me this bed and i have no clue about your stuff. And now at 2 o'clock after finishing my work I can't find my shorts In order to even sleep on another bed) * Be careful while climbing the upper beds. The whole thing shakes like a swing. * Be ready to move your heavy bags yourself by some 50 stairs and back. Real exercise! Overall it was a disaster! Not recommended. :)
