Hotel Sunrise Cottage

I had checked into your hotel for a 2-day stay starting from 18th April 2025. However, due to the extremely unprofessional and rude behavior of one of your staff members, I decided to check out after just one day. There is a tall male staff member (approximately 6 feet in height) who sits at the reception - I assume he might be the manager. Frankly, he is not even fit for a peon's job, let alone a managerial position. He clearly does not know how to speak to ladies or handle customers respectfully. From the moment we checked in, his tone and way of speaking were inappropriate and came across as mocking. We initially ignored it, thinking it might be a misunderstanding, but his attitude remained the same during three separate interactions. The final incident happened when my wife placed a lunch order at 12:25 PM on 19th April. The way he spoke to her was extremely insulting. Upon hearing this from my wife, I immediately called back, cancelled the lunch, and informed your staff that we would be checking out. He casually responded with "Okay" as if it didn't matter at all. To make matters worse, when we went to make the dinner payment at night, he deliberately left the reception to avoid us. I'm warning you--having staff like this is not good for your business. I also own a hotel and banquet business in Ludhiana, and we've had similar experiences in the past. When corporate clients are involved, such issues become apparent quickly and can damage the brand's reputation. Your hotel is very good otherwise, and I genuinely liked the place. But I urge you to take this matter seriously. Even if you don't see the impact immediately, such behavior will eventually affect your sales and customer satisfaction. Please investigate this issue and take appropriate action. Your attention to this matter would be appreciated.

Place is good but basic amenities are not available infact they denied to give us dental kit. Washroom leakage. No room services. Manager behaviour is very strange. Someone need to wake him up and tell how to behave with customer.Not recommended at all.

Everything was great food ambiance and service but the only thing disappointing was their manager's behaviour if i remember correctly his name is Manish. I would recommend the owner to replace the manager or teach him some etiquettes to deal with the customers. I really liked the place but only because of the manager I'm not going to visit the place again.

This place is very cute but the upkeep is questionable. The chairs and tables need maintenance. But the tea and pakoras we had here were out of this world! The staff needs to focus more on cleanliness and hygiene. Rest is good! I wish them all the best.

As per the festival of colours (Holi) This cafe gave us the proper satisfaction on that day, I'm happy to visit Sunrise cottage, The ambiance of cafe attracts me a lot, And it's also good for family gatherings & groups. Food- 4 1. (MAIN COURSE) Mix veg is averaged but Dal Makhani is amazing, Chapati were so fresh. 2. (SNACKS) French Fries were over salted. Service & Staff- 5 1. Service was good,staff were very polite. Environment & Activity- 4 They played 80s Bollywood songs in lower volume that feels amazing. They provided us Carom board, Chessboard, Ludo, it's good to play these games over waiting a little for our order. Need to change something- Everything was so good, But your glasses didn't match your crockery, As per my knowledge, it's good to provide some better... Thanks Hotel Sunrise and Cottage

No room services at all, they denied for dental kit, manager behaviour is very bad. He do not have basic level of understanding. Not recommending for stay. No basic amenities. Difficult to manage and it's very annoying.

Staffs are senseless..No room service at all..There is no basic amenities, they refused to give dental kit, denied for tea. Water leakage in the bathroom. .Not at all recommended...Worst stay at this Hotel Sunrise cottage.

Very third class staff specially men and women both are nonsense and third class please don't go and book this hotel because nonsense staff and food was very low and old smelly if you plan go to Kasauli don't book sunrise cottage dharmpur
