So being from Chandigarh, one knows that weekend getaways almost always mean heading to the hills. This time, my escape from monotony led me and my friends to Dagshai Mist- a serene retreat stationed just an hour's drive from Panchkula. The journey was smooth, except for the last 1 km--a steep descent which could be slightly challenging but definitely is a small price to pay for the stunning landscape that shortly awaits. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm hospitality that instantly made the resort feel like home. The caretaker welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and guided us to our rooms, which were thoughtfully designed with a modern yet minimalistic touch. The rooms were well-equipped with: * Air conditioning * Oil convector heaters * Steam iron & hair dryers * Clean drinking water bottles * Impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail Since it's relatively newly built, the upholstery and house fittings were pristine. What truly made our stay special was the bonfire and barbecue experience. A big shoutout to the host, who ensured everything was curated with the same care and precision he'd extend to his own family. From the perfect arrangement of chairs and tables surrounding the bonfire to customized meals, every detail was taken care of seamlessly. The meals were exceptional, and the flexibility to personalize them added to the exclusivity of taste. Room service was prompt, and everything was just a call away. Special mention to the butler, whose patience and accommodating nature ensured that breakfast continued until the last of us was done--a rare and much-appreciated gesture. With six rooms, Dagshai Mist offers a close-knitted-group setting, making it ideal for small groups or families looking for a private escape. The location of Dagshai Mist is superb. It is quiet and peaceful with great view, yet close to shops and restaurants. Stayed there for a holiday with family. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Large comfortable spaces to relax, both indoor and outdoors. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Food was cooked as per our requirement. Thanks to Mr Shaurya who ensured that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Most important, a very reasonably priced resort ... value for money.
