Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tree of Life. We stayed in April 2025 with our family of 8 and no request was too small. The team were helpful in organising transport as well as a providing contact information for a nearby yoga instructor and allowed us to use communal areas to have a group class! ||We went on a trek in the middle of our stay where the Tree of Life team securely stored our luggage. We also had amazing food where every meal was delicious and we ate every meal at the hotel, which as foodies, doesn't happen often! ||Thank you so much to the whole team with particular thanks to Karan and Vivek. Would definitely stay again.

The staff - Abhishek, Rishi, Karan, Vivek, Shabnam - are extremely courteous and polite. They made our stay very comfortable. The service was on time, and anything needed was addressed immediately. All the linen was clean. Bathrooms were clean, and the cleaning staff did a great job as well. Room service was great as well. Highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to visit this part of the country. Would rate this as one of my top hotels till date.

Chasing deadlines, meeting timelines, and enduring tiring voices on endless calls--if you've come here seeking a review, you might be wondering why you're reading about things that are already part of your daily grind. If this indeed is your daily grind, then like me, you too may have lost that delicate balance between work and life.||We were desperate for a short break from the usual routine--to restore some much-needed sanity and balance. We needed a place that was not too far, yet not too near; not too high up in the mountains, yet not on the plains; at a time when it wasn't too cold, yet not too hot either. A sense of balance--both in our surroundings and within ourselves--needed to be restored.||During one such armchair travel session, we stumbled upon Tree of Life - Bird Song, which seemed to offer everything we were looking for.||The reviews and images appeared promising, thanks to the travelers who had visited the place and generously shared their experiences. It seemed to perfectly suit our requirements--provided reality was anywhere close to the pictures. But we decided to go ahead and try it anyway. Since there are already so many reviews and images available, I would instead like to share the experience of spending three days at the property.||After a considerable drive from Delhi--exploring a few newly developed expressways and enjoying the pre-Baisakhi greenery--we finally reached the property late in the evening. It turned out to be far better than I had anticipated. The property was spacious enough to appreciate personal solitude, yet small enough to feel like a part of the world they had built. Maybe it was the perfect weather, or maybe that's just how it is there. I couldn't help but reminisce about childhood summers, when vacations were the most cherished time of the year.||There was finally some time to slow down--to breathe in the fresh air, watch birds of various kinds, and listen to their calls echoing through the clear skies. Amidst all the rapid changes in the world, it was heartwarming to look up at the night sky, see the twinkling stars, and take comfort in the fact that some things remain unchanged. We couldn't help but rekindle childhood conversations--the kind we used to have during summer power cuts, when we'd sit on the terrace, count the stars, and design imaginary shapes until the lights came back on.||This place evoked the same warmth and nostalgia as a visit to Naani/Daadi's home. And fortunately, for this trip, my Naani/Daadi was the entire crew managing the property and preserving its beauty.||It had all the elements that make a perfect Naani/Daadi ka ghar--a water source to take a dip in, a porch to watch the sunset, meals served at any time of the day, and fields of grains, fruits, and flowers. But the best part was the space within the property where one could stand and watch the sun rise behind the snow-capped Dhauladhar ranges.||It felt so much like home that I didn't even realize I never asked the crew members for their names.||If you ever get to read this--thank you, Uncle, for your morning greetings and cheerful conversations, and for toiling away to keep the premises so pleasant with your gardening skills.||Thank you, my dear friend at the restaurant, for telling me about the places we needed to visit and all the things that could be explored and experienced.||Thank you, Mr. Karan Thakur, for being the main naani of this trip--feeding us until we burst, and sharing stories of your birthplace and your life. After all the sightseeing and exploring, seeing you at the resort upon our return gave us a great deal of comfort and assurance that we would not be going to bed hungry. I also thank you for your warm hospitality, not just toward us but also toward the other guests we met during our stay. I wish I could have followed your advice and never left--but, like all summer vacations, this one had to come to an end eventually.||I hope to meet you and everyone again.||Last but not least, to all prospective travelers--I hope you, too, get to experience the beauty and balance we found at this resort, our very own Naani ke ghar, during our stay.
