Worst night of my life. Azar, the manager of the resort tried to harass me and my friends multiple times. My friend warned him and he still made several moves. Hate the experience of travelling solo/only girls in this country.

Date: 25 Sept 2009||||this i was been to silver sand. It was opposite to the old bus stand of kurukshetra. It has royal looks just after the etry inside, though an ordinary looking , from outside.||||The service staff was excellent and caring. The naans were just out of the world. believe me the food was excellent. And the foodie serving was just amazing. ||||The thing that i hated was the parking which is a normal thing in kurukshetra especially near the bus stand. Also the chargs there were a little higher as compared to the other hotels in kurukshetra.||||Fully air conditioned with swimming pool the hotel is awesome.||||The hotel is a beauty from inside, may be the comfort at its very best.............!!!!!!
I've chosen this hotel thru this portal.I had visited Kurukshetra for its history. Hotel reception is ok,but room was pathetic. First they had offered me a standard category room where room size is so small and a foul smell was all over.Room was so dirty also. Seeing all these, then I had choosen Room No 101-a better room than previous where I had found the following trouble.||1. This room has 1 window AC of which sound is terrific, none can sleep properly.||2. Though they had told us that they had 24 hrs running hot water facility, but only in the morning, during bathing time we got only 1 bucket full of water, that's all.||3. Food quality is ok but not the up to the mark by quality.||4. House keeping service is practically '0'.||||I ll not recommend this hotel.
We really liked this hotel. Our room was on the top floor and was super clean, spacious, bright and sunny and made us feel like we were in an English Cottage. Clearly the building was old becasue the lifts were tiny and the hallways and doorways pretty narrow,(especially compared to the usual USA over sized new modern hotels) but heck that was what we liked. Our room was really nicely done (looked like it had been remodeled) and extremely comfy (we stayed 4 nights). Location was awesome for just hopping on the bus or tube or even a real nice walk to the green ways, zoo and some shopping. It didn't take much time to get to downtown via bus, and the stops were super close and easy to read. Staff was really helpful and very kind- we were in London during the tube strike, so we couldn't get taxi's to the airport for several hours- the staff really helped us stash our luggage so we could enjoy the city, and even when we arrived at 9am way before normal check-in Everything was great. One heads up though- somehow the plumbing was such that you got really hot water (the cold just didn't seem to come on), BUT if you call the desk they will tell you to simply open both the sink faucet and the tub/shower simultaneously - then the water regulated just fine.
The rooms in the hotel are unclean and mouldy !! The staff is not hospitable at all. The corridors are dark and dusty. Room service is terrible and you always have to wait for a long time for anyone to turn up for your request. The worst part was the volley of suspicious questions i had to face at the time of check in before they decided to give me a room. This hotel is not worth giving a chance.
Haunted House!!||That's the exact word that came into my mind when I dared to take a glimpse of it all-alone. The receptionist (who came after 15-20 mins) was the caretaker, room service guy, laundry guy, acting manager. I am not blaming him but to the hotel owners who pay less and churn them like sugarcane.||Thanks to my official trip that I am able to make you guys aware about this hotel.||Some bad experience :||1. There was no one to attend at reception||2. Dim lighted hotel passage passage (just check the photographs) ||3. No clean rooms (They moved me from one room to another and none of them was ready for checkin)||4. People were consuming alcohol in passage||5. Manager was acting oversmart and they didn't knew anything happening in the hotel||||Bad Thing: We (I and my company) lost the money because I was not feeling secure in this hotel so I left.||Good thing: There was another hotel at a walkable distance Hotel Kimaya. (for that you have to view my Hotel Kimaya review)
I am a frequent visitor of this hotel and every time I found it worth living. The rooms are fully ac , best infrastructure , cable TV , service is very fast , food quality is also good specially veg I have eaten and they will provide you everything u need. Very peaceful place at affordable rates and I will recommend it.
It is a ok hotel but has a very good location in the middle of city near to the bus stand and railway station. food here is great but fro staying there are better options available in same prices across kurukshetra, staff is helpful and polite.
