Lotus Grand AKM

Lotus Grand AKM is very convenient place to stay in Kalka if you have to catch a toy train. It is just 5 min. walkable distance from Kalka Railway station. The staff is very polite and helpful especially Mr. Ashwini ji and Mr. Monu ji. Food prepared by chef Mr. Rajesh ji was very testy. Room was clean as well as washroom having all facilities, no complaint at all. I definitely recomend Lotus Grand AKM without any hesitation.

Booked this hotel only coz of its proximity to the Kalka Railway Station. Budget friendly rooms just next to the railway lines. Only con is that we were assigned a room on the second floor and there is no lift to the top.

We are a French couple who came here to take the Toy Train from Kalka to Shimla. The place was perfect to have a stop between Dehli and Shimla, 5 minutes from the station. The host was very nice and helpful, the room was big and super clean. Best place to stop !

Lotus Grand AKM is the best place to stay in Kalka if you have to catch a toy train. This hotel is just 400mtrs away from Kalka railway station, only 10 min walk. The staff is very polite and helpful. Service is fast, no complaints at all. We booked a super deluxe room. The room size is decent. The room was clean, the wash room was clean. The food was tasty. We had crispy corn, paneer butter masala, lacha prantha, butter roti in dinner. And in breakfast we had paneer prantha, aloo prantha and omlete. Everything was tasty. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Value for money hotel ... very close to railway station kalka - about 400 mtrs by walk. food is not available nut u can get tea and hot milk milk for babies. Rooms are small but very manageable if u r travelling for night only. Hotel allows u to order food from zomato/swiggy. All in all, a good and comfortable stay and deserve 4 star mainly for the location of the hotel.

2 times visited this Hotel, Hotel rooms are good but both the times got too much WORST Experience. For the first time visit we struggled for normal water forget about Hot water for doing basic morning activities and finally checked out hotel without water. I don't want to share second WORST experience.

If you have to stay in kalka, probably the best hotel. And very convenient for station. Towels were rather mush as been folded up damp.

The room was good , near and clean. Service was also available even at 5 a.m in the morning. It is situated near Kalka Station. Food was also good.
