Shivdhara Waterpark & Resort

Visited this place with high expectations, but it was a complete letdown. The food was below average and insanely overpriced. Even a simple soft drink or tea felt like a luxury item here - total loot. The washrooms were in horrible condition - no proper doors or locks, and no cleanliness at all. It was very uncomfortable, especially for families. The staff was extremely rude. There was one old lady (probably in charge) who talked to us very badly, as if we were there without paying. Such behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when we've paid full entry fees like everyone else. The overall environment was unpleasant. Poor service, unhygienic surroundings, and arrogant staff - this place is a big NO from my side. Don't waste your money or your mood here.

The management is often described as inefficient and unhospitable. Difficulty in getting assistance from the staff, and the manager. The swimming pool and indoor activities room have been reported as dirty and not well-maintained. The food served at the resort is considered overpriced and of poor quality. Guests have reported being charged exorbitant prices for basic items like a can of Coke (400 +) and a cup of tea (400+). Guests have reported that the resort failed to provide basic amenities like extra beds, despite being informed in advance. The staff, particularly the reception, is often described as inattentive and unhelpful. Guests have reported having to repeatedly request assistance, only to be met with excuses. I would not recommend the resort to others. Overall, it seems like Shivdhara Resorts & Water Park is struggling to provide a satisfactory experience for its guests.

So called five star resort with one star service. Worst experience with the service overall and no maintenance. First of all, when we entered through the reception, there is slippery tiles which is a hazard where I had two near misses. Someone can actually fall easily if not mindful, especially when there is a pool and water park around. The lugqgage came to our room after two hours. Rooms were not cleaned properly, dead bugs in the bathroom. We ordered tea at 3.30 pm which came to us at 6 pm. We had dinner so cold that not one guest was happy with it. It was a disaster with table service. Only 3 employees are working for a resort full of guests. Then comes the next day morning breakfast service was like you are struggling to get hot meal with the amount of guests and handful employees. It was a self serve but you still need to look after the cutlery dishes and other things. I don't think it was employees' fault. The management of the whole stay was the worst for so called five star resort. There was nothing that I can give five stars after spending double the money for one night stay. Then comes the water park. It has the same access gate for staying guest and waterpark customers so you have to walk all the way to the entrance gate from the resort. The way they have rooms it looks like a big hostel. Overall, get some casual staff if you can so when the resort is fully booked you don't just have handful of employees serving hundreds of people.

I recently visited Shivdhara Resort and was quite disappointed with the dining experience at the restaurant. Despite the hot weather, the air conditioning was either not working or completely ineffective. It made the entire meal quite uncomfortable, especially since the restaurant seemed packed and poorly ventilated. For a resort of this standard, basic amenities like a functioning AC in the dining area should be a given. This really took away from what could have been a pleasant experience. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly.

This place is a complete disaster. The food was tasteless and overpriced - not even worth half the money they charge. Basic snacks were super expensive, and the quality was horrible. The washrooms were filthy and didn't even have proper doors or locks - absolutely shameful for a place that calls itself a "resort." There was no hygiene, no cleanliness, nothing. The staff was rude and unprofessional. There was an old lady at the counter (maybe in charge or part of the management) who spoke to us in such a disrespectful tone as if we were there for free. Excuse me - we paid full price like everyone else! Is this how you treat paying guests? The whole experience was frustrating and insulting. Please save your money and your dignity - go somewhere else. This place doesn't even deserve one star.

This resort offers a beautiful property in a prime mountain location, providing stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, the service is excellent, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy for a relaxing getaway. I love shivdhara

Very good property with poor maintenance. Air-conditioning not working properly, dirty towels etc. Dirty swimming pool. No cleaning. We were three couples in total so large property and all other rooms were empty. Only positive side is good food and good staff at restaurant. Really not worth the money they are charging.

Worst experience ever. Restaurant accepts the order and have to ask them 1 hour later about the order and they reply that we cannot prepare your order. First they say on call they have free waterpark with room but they refrain after you book.
