Hotel Sunshine Palace

Location is excellent very near to Mataji Temple. The place belongs to the erstwhile king of the area and hence has heritage value. Feels like staying in a palace. Rooms are spacious and airy. Services good. On the premises a very authentic Punjabi food joint gives you best food for very reasonable price. Overall excellent and value for money stay at Sunshine Palace.

Hotel Sunshine palace is located on Rajkot Ahmedabad highway in Chotila. Rooms are of decent size ,Bathroom also have good space. Toiletries were provided One water bottle was also given. On our request they provided extra blanket and pillow. Hot water was also available in morning You just have to tell them to start valve of hot water in morning . Hotel doesn't have restaurant of their own. But a tea stall is nearby which opened at 6:00am in morning. A punjabi restaurant is also situatedin hotel premises with reasonable price however we didn't like food quality . Rooms are in need of maintenance ,bucket and mug should be periodically changed. Blanket and bedsheet also should be changed . Overall we had decent stay do not expect much and you will be happy .

Pluses: Economical at Rs 1000 per night. Fairly clean rooms, bathroom. Large rooms. Air-conditioned rooms. Close to the temple, about 1.5 km. Minuses: No hot water. (Heater is provided on demand.) Better carry your own bedsheets. No health faucet in toilets!

I have traveled all over India, but through my personal experience I can suggest you friends that this hotel gives a 5 star service in very reasonable rates. I call this hotel a smiling hotel !!!I never stop smiling from the time I arrive until I left. Lovely staff, spotless and a great location, lovely bistro across the road don't miss this hotel if you travel from chotila.

Nice property belonging to the royal family of chotila on the highway but slightly inside avoiding traffic noise. Nice courtyard inside. Medium size rooms but no furniture or wardrobe etc. Receptionist is straightforward friendly guy but doesn't have much of experience.

A very good and clean place to stay in Chotila. The room and bathrooms are big and grand ,enough to feel that one is staying in a palace. The room service is excellent and the food at the hotel restautant is very delicious. The location is also good as enough space is provided between highway and the hotel giving a peaceful atmosphere away from the noise of highway.
