A stay in the Palace takes the tourist into the bygone period to experience the real Nawabi ambiance and architecture of northern Gujarat. This rating is solely based on coffee experience. We didn't stay there. The garden is well maintained. There is a cover charge of 300 per person if you are just visiting. You can redeem the full value at the restaurant inside. They have a smaller coffee place and a restaurant. We went for coffee. The design and layout was weird and it had musty smell. The server was attentive and good. The cutlets were good but cold coffee was a disaster.

Very nice place... Great location.. Peaceful,natural Serene, close to river, temple, forest... Big rooms with heritage touch,, lush green gardens...Ample parking space.. great view

Superb location with charm of old heritage days. Nawab and Begum rooms are very good. A run down place being restored by new owners. AWESOME FOOD. Try Daal baati and Churma. Whether u taste Khichdi or manchurian, u can't go wrong. Go to swimming pool & enjoy serenity. 3 hours from Ahmedabad

The place is good but not much as per the hype... The entry price and lunch or food price is 300.. but the price of the food is too high and not much better in taste (personally didn't even like it a bit) . I will not recommend it

Amazing place to go with family!! We have been here twice and will come here every year. Service is fantastic and so is the food!

The place has historical significance for hosting multiple bollywood movies but the quality of service does not match what you'd expect from such a place to be. Their restaurant has a gloomy ambience, sad decor and even sadder looking menu. It would've been somewhat of a redemption had the food been fresh but alas the cold and old food left no choice for redemption. Sure it must be a different experience for people who stay there but that's no excuse to ignore your regular visitors. I'd not recommend this to anyone who's looking for great service and good food, especially not for dating.
