Sterling Greenwoods Resort

I tried to find this resort for 1-2 around but later I got to know they destruct year ago. and they construct School here. Please dont find this resort anymore.

Isn't the same like it used to before. New owners really ruined it

I had gone for attending a marriage function. The arrangements are just pathetic. The management was not at all interested in taking care of guests. Toilets were non existent (practically). Staff was uninterested... arrangement was casual. However hosts had planned interesting things. If you are wanting to organise an event there just avoid it.

Sterling Greenwoods is one the oldest resort situated on SG highway equidistant from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Quite and calm place near yet far enough from city crowds and noises. A decent place to spend quality time with family and friends. Rooms are of decent size with good facilities. Resort provides indoor games like carrom, chess, pool, table tennis and has nice garden for outdoor activities like bainton, cricket, run games. Food quality was nice with good options to eat. Overall a nice experience

Place is almost fair according to the price. The indoor area of resort and swimming pool is nicely maintained, However, the maintenance of changing rooms, lake and adventure park is bad. Rooms are somewhat in good condition. There is theater, sports area and gym too for enjoyment. Fooding is good and items served are delicious. Overall, it is good. Greenwood resort was one of the good ones in past but recently I visited there and it was worst property ever I visited. Water was leaking from top, rooms are smelling like anything, indoor play area smells very bad, outdoor play equipment were available but in very bad condition...you cannot play even. Food is average but if you book lunch dinner with high tea than don't expect different food in lunch and dinner. They served same food in lunch and dinner. You need to lift your plates by yourself and clean the desks as well after your meal. Swimming pool was not cleaned properly. Small insects, leaves etc will swim with you as well. I can write an 10 pages essay but I would summarise here and would not recommend to plan your day trip, family gatherings, corporate events etc.

It is a nice resort to spend a weekends with family or friends. Have lake & boating also + few rides but I think there is need of renovation and management to manage the places. Have different types of rooms and facilities depending on cost but rooms & services are good. I don't about the food because I didn't try I think there is gaming area also. I saw 8 ball pool there so.
