This is without a doubt the worst Hilton I have ever visited, and I'm a Diamond member so I frequent them. |Two stars given only because the staff were friendly, 3 were taken away because the place is just really a dump. ||Several things in my room were broken, including the sliding patio door, which did not lock. There were crushed Modelo beer cans on my patio as well, since it appeared anyone could just walk right onto it. Serious security issue!||The room was very very basic, the shower ice cold. ||The nice photos show of a rooftop patio with views? Nope, there was nothing there! No tables, no staff. An empty space, so my idea of getting a sunset drink and food did not happen. This was on a Saturday night around 7pm. ||The pool looked nice enough, but unfortunately, I guess there was no security or closing time, around 1am there were clearly drunk people screaming and running around, and unlucky for me, my room was up the hall so I got to hear it all. I had to get up at 3 to leave to the BJX airport, and I did not appreciate losing the sleep due to this. ||If you want to avoid the pool noise, do not let them put you on the first floor, and do not book a room with a balcony as they are all on that floor, and totally accessible to anyone, from outside, and not private at all. NO view anyway. ||I had to get to the airport for an early flight, and I did use the shuttle at 3:30 am. |It did show up and leave on time, so that was a positive. Although, the shuttle was not a Hilton shuttle, but one from a neighbouring hotel. ||Honestly, as I live in San Miguel de Allende and fly out every few months, so I don't like to do the 1.5 drive at 2am, so I stay closer to the airport. In the past I have stayed in Guanajuato at Maria Christina, which is further away, but a beautiful historic hotel. ||I went as far as to change my next flight to the other local airport so I could avoid booking the Hilton Silao hotel again. To my pleasant surprise, there is a new Hilton a 30 minute drive from the QRO airport that is beautiful and well run, and that is the one I will be using from now on. ||This hotel in Silao is an embarrassment to the Hilton brand, and that is not due to the staff who were at least, accommodating and friendly. ||Upper management at Hilton should put some money into improving the hotel, fixing the Many issues, or, they should remove the Hilton name from it.

The rooms are great but the food is god awful. Whatever you do, don't get the pizza. It is a frozen pizza that is poorly reheated.
A modern hotel located right off a busy freeway in the heart of Bajio's business corridor. Check-in was a bit slow, but I was recognized as a Diamond member and given a breakfast voucher. My room was on the fifth floor facing the freeway. If you're a light sleeper like me, I would recommend asking for a room at the back of the property, as the freeway noise is constant day and night. When I asked for a room change, I was politely informed that the Silao town festival was happening behind the hotel, and it gets loud at night, so I opted to stay in the same room. The room was very spacious, and I was given a larger king room. The bathroom was clean, and the rest of the space was airy. However, I did have a slight hiccup with the bathroom where maintenance had to come and fix an issue. Unfortunately, they left quite a mess, only partially cleaning the floor and countertop with a rag, leaving stains on the bathroom floor and dirt on the countertop, which was gross. I didn't feel comfortable using the bathroom for the rest of my stay. Around the vicinity of the hotel, there is only a Denny's; any other food options require a taxi or Uber ride. For dinner, I ordered a classic room service club sandwich. After being quoted 15 minutes for my meal, it took 35 minutes, and the sandwich was gross and mushy. I was greatly disappointed, especially after waiting twice as long as expected. The breakfast was decent, nothing special. I just opted for fruit and tea since the eggs they offered were incredibly salty. We used the conference rooms at the hotel, which were decent but a bit small. Checking out was a breeze, and the staff overall were friendly, which I appreciated. The room service needs some improvement, along with attention to other details, but overall it is a decent Hilton Garden Inn in the middle of El Bajio in Central Guanajuato.
Excelente location near BJX. Call hotel to arrange pick up from airport if needed. Service was friendly and efficient! The hotel offers a traditional Mexican buffet breakfast for a nominal price. Fresh fruit, pan dulce, eggs and more! It was filling and we could sit on the terrace. |We had a room on the first floor with a balcony and had an excellent view of el Cubilete and Cristo Rey. The only down side was the traffic noise from the highway so I would recommend a room on the backside of the hotel . |There is a wonderful swimming pool and gym on the first floor. |I would stay here again and only give four stars due to traffic noise. All else was fantastic!
It was an amazing experience. Food was delicious. Customer service was excellent. Braulio at the front desk was very helpful and he's English was conversational enough for my understanding. Amazing view of the mountain from the pool.
Hotel has a nice modern vibe. Rooms are clean and bedding is very comfortable. Breakfast however, leaves much to be desired. Upon arrival at the breakfast area, one is assaulted by loud rock and roll music along with the latest news on their 4 TVs on the walls. An excessive amount of sounds just as one is getting up in the morning is what is needed, apparently. The food is at best, sub par. There could be an improvement there. The hallways to the rooms are uncomfortably warm. The lounge/restaurant could be so nice if they would have more suitable, or better choice of BACKGROUND music at a normal volume so that one can have a conversation.
I've in different hotels in Silao for buisness but this is the best so far. Indoor pool is a great place to rest at the end of the day. The rooftop bar has amazing view but a bit windy sometimes. Breakfast is changing every day so you wony get board after a few days.
I booked this hotel for my husband who was visiting his mother at the hospital nearby. It looked amazing online but he quickly informed me how it was far from. We frequently travel and love leaving positive reviews. However, this place didn't meet our basic expectations. The pillow cases were dirty and smelled. The sheets had obviously not been changed since the previous guests body hair remained. To top it off, there were several dead cockroaches on the floor. My husband should have complained but had just gotten in from his flight at almost midnight. He ended up placing towels on the bed to sleep on top of instead of using the bedding. He did however note that the only good part of his stay was the delicious breakfast. Very disappointed. I booked him a Hilton in the area for his departing flight. Will never consider staying here again.
