Shubgiri Garden Resort

Worst resort, that Patil the owner of resort was very rude, uncleaned rooms, water logging in rooms, water leakage from washbasin, the service was 3rd class, and it was totally fraud, food was not atall tasty. And resort was not cleaned.

**Detailed review** We stayed here for two nights. We wanted to visit Dudsagar falls by train way and this resort is just 5km from Kulem station. Pros: 1. Hospitality was really good host here gave us really good food. Food was really tasty they charges 250 per person for lunch and 100 per person for breakfast. 2. Resort is right next to Dudsagar river and if you are water baby you can take a dip in the water. 3. We reached here at 7.30pm and we asked for playing cards which they arranged and gave it to us and charged for it. 4. Resort is big and spacious they have ample parking. 5. Host was really friendly and helpful, my sister had a knee injury while going Dudsagar and host asked us to do we need any medicine and all so they were really helpful. 6. So 5 star for service and hospitality. Cons 1. They have one AC room which looked clean and good. 2. We had taken one AC and one Non AC room.l, non AC room was not clean and bed sheets had dead bugs ok it when we reached later they changed the sheets after asking for it 3. Bathroom was not really clean. 4. I have attached few photos of non AC room which we were not able to see while booking so that it will be helpful for others to decide whether they need to book or not. 5. They don't have wifi and you will get only jio signal here. 6. They have pool structure but water was not there. 7. Bed were not really great but it was decent. Conclusion: If you can adjust a bit and have a good time in water and want to enjoy their hospitality and food you can come here. We reached here on 28th Sept 2024 night and vacated on 30th morning within 10am. We had paid 7k for one AC and one Non AC room and 3.5k for two dinner and 2 breakfast 150 for 2 set of cards. Good experience and the hospitality is very amazing staffs are very friendly food was really amazing overall the resort was very peaceful

We pre-booked a resort for 10 people, paying 5,000 INR in advance. The agent, Suresh, and the resort owner, Patil, turned out to be scammers. They promised to pick us up at Kulem railway station, but once we arrived, they stopped answering our calls. After arranging local transportation ourselves, we reached the resort only to be asked for more money to stay. They provided us with two unclean rooms with no power, and the conditions were very poor. They claimed lunch would be provided, but a lady served only rice, sambar, pickle, and papad as a buffet, charging 200 INR per plate for substandard food. They charged extra for everything, and there were no activities as promised. We did not receive food on time, and the experience was not worth the cost. When we questioned the resort owner about the fake bills, he shouted at us and even tried to fight with my friends. It was one of the worst resort experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise others to look for a different resort and not ruin their adventure trip with these scammers.

I had the worst experience here and service is the most worst services ever. I have never tasted such food here they give rice with colored water and charge 200 per plate rice if we question they disrespect in the worst way possible Even beyond ur expectations. And we even had guests at our room blanket caterpillar and bed bugs most unhygienic place ever visited in Goa And bathroom was stinking. Don't expect an Electric City at all. If you're planning to visit get ready to bear the smell and deal with all the insects.

The bed and bedsheets are not clean they stink a little. When it comes to food it is not served on time and thought they mention an unlimited buffet it isn't. However, the food taste is very good

When I visited shubgiri and garden resort it was a good experience The rooms are maintained properly with cleanliness and hygiene. The view is also best with river view.
