Goa Garden Resort - 5BHK Villa with private pool at South Goa

We were group of 12 people and booked entire villa/apartments. It was very comfortable stay, service was good, food was good. Enjoyed private swimming pool. Good for family.

Very worst and unsecured property to stay. Poor service with one staff alone, everything provided on demand including hot water. Restaurant was closed due to nonavailability of workers. Inside the room was very ugly, bed sheets, sofa etc. are dirt and not maintained. Overall not at all advisable for family to stay. Very importantly I had a bitter experience with this property. My wrist watch got forgotten within the room (kept on the top of refrigerator) while checkout and I realised it after passing almost 30 kilometers from the hotel. Immediately I called up the Owner Mr. Manoj to keep the Watch safe with him since I had planned official trip to Goa again in same weekend. Initially Mr. Manoj assured for doing the needful, but later he denied to find watch despite my various requests. He informed to have checked with his alone staff Mr. Ram babu also, but could not get it. I personally visited the place on 8th November along with my office colleagues, but the approach was very bad from Mr. Manoj as he was not bothered about my loss. Let me quote his two statements "we are not responsible for your properties and after all it's a Watch only". With this dialogues I could make out that he is not willing to get my watch back and I had to accept my loss as it was having high value. Therefore, visitors be carefull before booking this property.

We booked for 3 nights even we were for 2 nights as our train was for early morning 2 rooms were booked. We had booked for 8 people Our first day morning experience was ok with good service. But later on in the evening we were not able to enjoy at all in the evening due to nuisance of one of the neighborhood residents who was just disturbing the guest with some religious stuff. Initially with due respect we were calm considering it to be religious thing. Next day at 6 am in the morning the same stuff was repeating in full volume. We decided to leave the resort and book another one We were only given refund for one night and not considered to compensate us for ruining our 2 days We were 8 ladies and we had to vacate the place and find for other homestay for one night. I would not recommend this place for anyone

Authentic Goan vibes. This villa just replicates Goa. It is FEEL GOA at this villa. The atmosphere here is just Goan. I stayed at the pool side villa. I enjoyed the cool pool here with clean water. The pool side dining was amazing. Superb villas... Apartments have spacious living rooms. The living rooms have fridge with mini bar, microwave, induction stove, kettle and cutlery. Cooking was very easy for our family. Sofa cum bed is comfortable for two people to sleep. There is also a dining table in the living room. Air conditioner in the living room and bed room. I've never seen two AC's in one room in any hotel. They provide 10 litre mineral water. The water dispenser is refilled every time it is empty. Other hotels we have to spend so much money on mineral water. I liked the bathtub. 24 hours hot water in the bath tub. The bathroom is so clean and spacious. All jaguar fittings. A luxurious bathroom. Clean towels and toiletries. Bedroom have Portuguese style beds. They are large king size beds. They are decorated with flowers. Hair dryer and dressing table in the bed room. What i liked the most here was the safe locker in the wardrobe. Goa Garden Resort is true to its name. The garden is beautiful here with so many flowers. I clicked so many pics with the flowers here. Birds of Paradise everywhere and a treat to watch. I enjoyed the gaming facilities here. The billiards pool table was a treat for our friends group. We enjoyed playing the dart. Hookah here is so cheap compared to other hotels. The pool side dining area is lovely. The open air gazebo with table and umbrella besides the pool was a perfect place to wine and dine for our group of 20 people. Singing, dancing and barbeque was arranged for us. Our group enjoyed our outing here.

Easy to check in and check out Clean villa with great accessories They prepare food as well if mentioned well before arriving. Owner was friendly . Only con is , they have only 2 staff which makes difficult to get things worked out as they have to divide cleaning, cooking, washing clothes (if needed) . Overall it was a delightful experience

Before I delve into what was wrong with the stay, to everyone who will read this review, I advise you to filter the reviews for this resort by lowest (negative reviews) and check the responses of the owner towards them. You will notice that the owner is adamant towards every single negative feedback. That sums up their hospitality. In my experience, the owner was not receptive to any suggestions. We booked the entire villa for four whole days and the electricity was out for long, there was no hot water, AC did not work, showers did not work. I have been to Goa before and I have never had a worse experience with the accommodation in Goa or outside than staying at Goa Garden Resort. After all these mishaps, the owner still continues to threaten to sue multiple people for defamation or cyberbullying, just leaving an honest feedback. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

A place to be. Well kept. Refreshing and a very professional and approachable staff. A good pool and a beautiful garden. A very comfortable stay.
