Seagull Resort

Silent and peaceful. The restaurant faces the River Sal. Rooms are cheap. Non A/c Rs. 1200 and A/c Rs. 1800. TV with satellite cable in all rooms. Parking space available. Food is excellent specially pork chilly and other goan cuisines. Pretty much organised. Orders for food are taken only till 10 pm so that was a bit of a disappointment. Else perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Even if you don't plan on staying, you can try out the food. You'll be happy with the quantity and the price as well. Easy on pocket. Easy on the mind. Having dined at Seagull Resort for lunch on New Year's eve, following a recommendation from my uncle, we were left really disappointed with the service from our waiter and the food that arrived. ||||We ordered a prawn pulao, pomfret grilled, kingfish reshad, and mackerel reshad. It took around 5 attempts to place the order with the waiter who was quite slow and could not take the order properly even though his English was pretty good. He didn't seem suited to waiting at all, no charm, not smile, no conversation. He confirmed that the pomfret was big enough for one person.||||When the food arrived, it came in drips and drabs, and the pomfret was so small, we thought it was a baby pomfret that would not even feed one person. Unfortunately, we had to call for the manager and for another waiter.||||When the food arrived, the only item that actually had taste was the prawn pulao. The king fish and the mackerel were tasteless which was disappointing. Whilst eating, the original waiter would just stare at us during the meal, not sure if he was checking if we needed any more drinks or not, but it was quite uncomfortable. We left dissatisfied.||||On the plus side, the views of the river are amazing, and the surrounds are so serene and it's well off the beaten path. It's not a sophisticated restaurant, but more of a bistro - and might be worth a visit on any other day. I do believe we just had bad luck that day.

This place is perfect for close family functions. Located by the riverside. The view is beautiful. Attended a family wedding here could accomodate crowd of nearly 200. Only thing the dance floor is little small.

The location of this resort is near the Betul Market called Mushir. The resort is overall good. They have their own restaurant and the food served is very good. There's river beside the Resort so scenic view from rooms and restaurant is excellent.

The place is situated near a beautiful water body... The road to this resort is not in good condition... However the resort is at a very peaceful location with a beautiful water view... The parking for vehicles is quite small and can accommodate upto 10 cars at max.. Since i was here only to attend a party in the hall... This review is purely with regards to hall and not stay and other services... However the hall can accommodate atleast 200 guests and is very ideal for family celebrations...

Great for private parties. During the day you get to see a local fishermen traveling to the sea with thier boats . This is the only restaurant where you can see where the river meets the sea. You can also hire a boat to have a river cruise or go fishing.

Nice quit Place, Surrounded by Back waters. A great place if you go in a group.Very very Friendly and Cooperative Staff specially Mr Ravi. Evenings its a great feeling to sit by the restaurant facing the waters and enjoying food.

A lovely quaint hotel tucked away in a cosy corner of Betul. Rooms are clean and nice,service is good, and the hotel has its own restaurant serving Goan and all types of dishes. Lot of scenic places to visit close by like the Betul beach,Betul jetty,Baradi hillock and chapel,Kanaguinim beach and little further away the Cao de Rama fort.
