Its a quiet place, 10-15 mins drive from the beach yet not too close. The locality is green, serene and not busy with commercial shops. Next to the villa is the parra road that attracts a lot of tourist for photography throughout the day. The villa is ethnic goan/portuguese style in exterior and interior. The property is quite spacious and decently maintained but seems like an old property. The private pool was really good and well maintained, the staff is courteous and prompt to help, both the care taker and house help. The rooms are huge, furniture is decently comfortable. Basic appliances are available in good condition. Things that can be improved: 1. Internet speed was decent but very poor Wifi range. Given the size, the villa needs some stronger routers/repeaters for better wifi coverage. We had airtel phone sims and they didn't work well either at different spots in the property. 2. Cutlery was decent, but some basic utensils need replacement. Hence we didn't use the cook's service and managed some tea and toast ourselves. FYI - Breakfast options were very basic. We were offered to get meals prepared of our choice. Cost of ingredients and cook service apart from breakfast time was on chargeable basis. 4. The hot water supply is instantaneous. But there was something wrong with the master bedroom shower. I had been using the shower with low hot water setting for a while but after few minutes of running the shower, it started spilling out boiling hot water even when no setting was changed. I narrowly escaped an accident that time.
