Cashew Leaf Resort (3 - star resort in north Goa )

If you're heading to Goa for the beach shacks, waves, and parties--this place might not be for you. Cashew Leaf Resort in Paliem (close to Arambol and the new Manohar Airport, GOX) offers a completely different vibe--more like a peaceful hill station than a beach holiday. The location is the biggest highlight. Perched a bit away from the typical touristy bustle, it gives you a quiet, scenic escape with lovely views and lots of greenery. It's definitely great if you're looking to unwind, read a book, or just enjoy some calm. That said, it's pretty secluded, so don't expect easy access to popular Goa hotspots. The resort itself looks great--very aesthetic and well thought out in terms of design. But there are a few things to keep in mind: the restaurant could use improvement--food was average at best--and they seemed short-staffed, which made even basic service feel a little slow. In short, come here if you want peace, privacy, and pretty views. Just don't expect the classic Goa beach experience--or super quick service.

This resort is an absolute gem! The mesmerizing views and perfect location make it a must-visit destination. The staff is incredibly warm and hospitable, ensuring a memorable stay. The cozy rooms with stunning views create the perfect ambiance for relaxation. The plantation walk offered by the resort is a unique and refreshing experience, adding to the charm of this little slice of heaven in Goa. The scenery is breathtaking, and the entire vibe makes you feel like you're truly in paradise. I didn't want to leave this place and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

Nice Property, But Terrible Service We stayed at this resort for just a day, and while the location and property are quite nice, the service and staff management were a huge letdown. We ordered food around 8:00 PM, and despite waiting for hours, there was no update. When we finally went to the dining area around 10 PM, the receptionist casually informed us that no food was available. Apparently, there was some internal issue between the owner and the staff, but no one bothered to inform the guests. After several arguments and a wait of over three hours, we were finally served food around 11:45 PM--but it was half-cooked and barely edible.

Unfortunately, we only stayed two nights at the Cashew Leaf Resort in the end of our Goa trip - it's a very special place far away from the crowds and at the same time very well reachable from GOX airport. The rooms are cute and the food is very good value for money. One feels very close to nature with monkeys playing in the Cashew trees whose flowers give off a very special and pleasant smell :)

We stayed in the Suite Sweet Room, which was incredibly spacious and offered a stunning forest view. The room had a lovely balcony, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings. The highlight was the swimming pool with a breathtaking 360-degree view of Goa - absolutely mesmerizing! The food at the resort was exceptionally tasty, offering a variety of dishes that catered to all our cravings. The staff deserves a special mention for being so helpful and welcoming. Their warmth made us feel like we were at home rather than in a resort. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning our next visit, that time with friends. If you're looking for a place in Goa that combines luxury, comfort, and nature, Cashew Leaf Resort is the perfect choice! Highly recommended!
