Sol De Goa

I recently stayed at Sol De Goa and had a great experience. The hotel has been newly renovated, and it really shows; everything feels fresh, stylish, and well put together. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a great place to unwind. The staff is new, but they're incredibly welcoming and eager to help. Even though they're still settling in, their service was warm and attentive, which made my stay even better. The location is also a plus--close to all the action but peaceful enough to relax. Overall, a great mix of comfort, style, and good hospitality. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing hotel!, we had a great time during our stay in the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly in getting all our requests. The location of the hotel is set at a very good location further having a perfect stay with less noise around. Special thanks to Laxman -hotel Manager, in assisting with the stay and making it a memorable one for all of us.

The General Manager Laxman was so nice and very accommodating. The staffs are very warm and welcoming, they made us feel like home. I can say that I had a very comfortable stay at Sol De Goa!

Disappointed! We had a 5 day stay at Sol de Goa. I had visited this property over a decade ago and was looking forward to revisiting this place ,considering it was mentioned clearly Newly renovated. To my suprise the renovation work was being carried out in small parts. The chandelier at the entry had cob webs, since renovation is being done in batches i guess , it's dusty, the wooden railings have dust on them and is seen settled on furniture in the property as well. The windows in the room are not polished and have visible gaps between them. No phones available in the rooms, so if there is any requirement for any services one has to come to the front desk. Breakfast served was very mediocre and underwhelming. With the looks of it, i didn't see a hot kitchen. It will serve your purpose and ones hunger will be met, but not of quality. Swimming pool did not seem it was cleaned on daily basis , hence refrained from using the pool. We were asked to do Payment for the stay at checkout with Cash or UPI. The card machine was not serviceable or they don't have the facility for card payments. Having said that the Staff did their best to accommodate our requests, The bed was comfortable, Airconditioner was working and Hot water in the shower was running well. The Management or owner needs to really take a serious look into maintaining this property and not to sell it as a Newly renovated property until the work is actually completed.

Place is nice.. maybe need an upkeep. At places it needs maintenance and a bit of housekeeping. Service, I won't complaint. Food, not extraordinary just OKish.

The Sol De Goa we know was a chic boutique hotel but that was long time ago. Today the hotel has lost it's charm and needs serious upgradation. The newly renovated claim by the hotel is doubtful. The wood work in the rooms is old and unpolished. The pool seemed dirty and the tables around the pool are so rusted that you better take a tetanus shot before risking sitting there. The breakfast also is so mediocre that I had it once and left it at that for the next 3-4 days I was there. On checkout it was told they don't have a card machine - this is so lame and appaling, I mean which established hotel does not have as basic as a card machine? Things don't end here, this hotel doesn't even have a phone inside the room to call reception or housekeeping ! The good parts and only things which led me to continue my stay - the bed was large and comfortable, the Aircon worked like a charm and shower never failed. They did get their basics right. The staff did their best to do whatever they could and were friendly however the management of the hotel need to seriously think the future of this place if they need to come back at their original glory days.

Incredible spot. The staff make you feel immediately like you're at home. The suites are fantastic. And just a skip away from LPK if you want to party next door. Can't recommend enough. If you're having trouble deciding where to stay near Candolim, just choose Sol de Goa.
