Silent Valley Nest

Very warn and welcoming place. Leslie, Triniford and his family made sure our stay was perfect. Truly recommend the Silent Valley Nest for a peaceful retreat with the beautiful garden and nice swimming pool.

We planned and had an event here. The owners however were not up front with all the costs and charges. They kept many details hidden until like 3-4 days before the event where we had to do a lot of last minute running around like to arrange a liquor license. On the day of our event, we cleaned up the place but the young chap there decided he didn't want to return our entire deposit of RS3500 and got very abusive with us when we pointed out that we cleaned up and we're being wrongly charged. Though we had a good party at the venue, their customer service is terrible and do not treat clients respectfully. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Please avoid at all costs!

This place is a complete scam. We booked the venue for a birthday party but the place provides nothing except a few lights hanging from a couple of trees - no fridge, freezer or any other provisions for the caterers to use; no tables or chairs. And all this he discloses a week before the event. On top of that, after the party, this thief refuses to give us back our deposit because he makes completely baseless claims about how we left the place dirty even though we cleaned up after and that he'll need to sweep and mop the place, which he would have to do anyway. Please learn from our mistake choose some other venue for your event.

We have always chosen silent valley, Nachinola as the best place for event or for a homestay. The hosts, Triniford and his family has always been helpful, even with our last minute booking they have entertained us with politeness and with warmth. Been here with here my family and also with my friends and never I have been disappointed with their hospitality. With the best rates and hospitality I recommend this place. The place is located around the scenic village of Aldona.

Lovely place and lovely family. They went all out to make my stay comfortable. Beautiful green property and room has a big balcony too.

The hospitality and the sceinc beauty around the home stay is very pleasant. If you are a good chef you can carry a stove with yourself, even barbeque is available. Thes best experience while staying in this homestay.

Had been for a wedding. Nice place for wedding. Will b upgraded more as per the owner. Got few rooms for a family get together also

Nice residential cottage in the midst of beautiful landscape..lush green lawns..a swimming pool..a well from where water is drawn...a pond where they breed fish...lots of fowls ...two lovely dogs..and a cute little pup Lassie... The owner Leslie and his wife are very friendly and helpful...their son Triniford looks after the guests..very courteous n helpful..the room we booked..had a sit out ... beautiful view...spent most of our time there...we enjoyed their breakfast...be it eggs or the local goan sambare...the rates are reasonable..they also take orders for meals when informed a day in advance....yes one needs a vehicle here as it is slightly interior...we hired a car.. some hire bikes...I surely recommend this place to tourists who like to enjoy the peace & serenity of village life..
