Excellent in every way. Start very very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Restaurant decor good. Would go back for sure. Didn't stay here but ate at the restaurant.

Menino is the owner, most polite and helpful person I've met in Goa. Local and knows where to get best deals for scooter rentals to food options. It feels more like a home than a hotel and you can get a real feel of Sth Goa without the resort prices and enjoy being close to the action. There's a fan and aircon rooms available to relax from the heat in comfortable beds fresh daily linen and large bathroom. Plenty of chairs and closet space. There's shops within meters to get supplies and chemist downstairs. All the masala or butter chicken you can eat too in 6 restaurants in 3mins walk. Cavelossium beach is nearby, ten minutes, but I opted to go by scooter 5-10 minutes away less crowds and whole beach to myself, warm safe and sand like flour for miles. Scooter is 600 rupee per day from Joe's bikes who also is very helpful and only willing to help with anything. I can say I was lucky to have found this place and the magic of India in this corner of Goa. I also recommend Mantra aruveyda minutes away for treatments that will leave you feeling relaxed and energised.|Thanks Menino, thanks Goa, thank u India.

I find it hard to believe there are no reviews since 2015!. My husband and I stayed at Jose holiday home 10 yeRs ago. We came back this year because we were travelling and wanted something reliable. Although dear Jo has passed away, his son, Minennio has taken over.|The room was immaculately clean and smelt wonderful. The shower and bathroom a pleasure to visit. Clean towels and bed linen every other day. Kishen was on hand twenty four seven for anything you may need. Breakfast was lovely with a beautiful view, watching the birds drying their wings after a night sleep. Next door is the restaurant. Fantastically refurbished serving high end food. This establishment is on the edge of the village, making it perfect for catching the bus, or walking to the beach, or walking to all the other restaurants and attractions of Cavelossim. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely four weeks.

We went to Jose Holiday Home after an unexpected "booking went wrong" episode with another B&B. We booked online for another B&B, nearer to zolar beach, after being done with our time at mobor beach. But when we went there, we were told no rooms were available in their property and were offered another, which we dint like. So we were back hunting for some decent accomodation and we ended up at Jose's home stay. We checked in at around 7PM and were told check out was at 11AM irrespective of check in time! I would have appreciated if they had let us to be there atleast till 1PM, because our train was at 3.30PM and we had to go wait at railway station for 3hrs! However, that I understand might be because they had some booking at that time. There were no AC rooms available and we were given the only non AC room left. We had no other option but to stay there because all other hotels were either full or not good. The room was quiet clean, surprisingly spacious for the tariff they charge, with a good spacious balcony! The let off though was the bathroom and toilet with rusty, broken taps and electrical wiring hanging out of the hole in the roof. Apart from that, its a good budget hotel with nice rooms. We dint spend much time there though, so dint really got time to interact with the hosts... But I believe, they must be good, as most people in Goa are... friendly, smiling and always helpful!||P.S. The home stay is surrounded by many good restaurants, so you dont need to walk much searching one. The beach is about 10 mins walk from there. If you are travelling by public transport to mobor, you can get down infront of the home itself.

We stayed here for a week on the recommendation of a friend. The rooms are spacious, have everything you need and are spotlessly clean. Menino and Kishan are a dream team, super friendly and nothing is too much. They really did make our stay perfect! Breakfast was great, with a good choice and well presented. We would most definitely stay here again.||Thanks for a fantastic stay and we hope the rest of the season is good for you. Miss you Kishan!

We have been staying at Jose Holiday Home since 1996 - the rooms are large and simply furnished but spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for Jose, Meno, Kishen and co. The personal service far outways that of any of the 4 and 5 star hotels in Cavelossim. Cannot wait to get back again - it really is like going home amongst family xxx||||The location is great and the fact that there is no pool is not a problem as the beach is just a short 10 minute walk away. If you prefer to walk through the countryside, you can wander down the back lane to the river Sal and take the ferry across to the other side.

Water seems to be contaminated. Its yellow and dirty. Location is incorrect. We spent 1 hour second for the place. We booked it since it's front of beach but it's very far from beach. Completely disappointed with the location. Seems like cheated us giving fake location. AC was not working in few rooms.

We stumbled across this hotel when we arrived in Cavelossim. Good location near the town and the beach with the most welcoming of staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Simple comfortable rooms but not much of a view.
