Margao Residency

Had booked a corner room @ Rs3380 non ac for 2 days. Went scouting for other hotels around and found that AC rooms were cheaper at Rs 1500 per day. Definitely much better than what I paid for this room. Charges at this hotel was way higher than an AC room in the vicinity. AC room here is Rs 2728 . Not that the rooms are great. Minister for tourism should take interest and see that this government tourist hotels are at par with the others. That's one reason,why government tourist hotels are not making much profit. They should revert back to their old price,instead of feeding Bharat cafe ,who is giving breakfast but not in the same premises although they are running the restaurant ,kinara in the same premises. This is any one's guess as to why the room charges are increased and who has gained from this arrangement which is not required ,as you need to walk 100 meteres to have breakfast where they have s tieup ,although there is aa restaurant in the same premises. Room rates are increased ,with inclusion of breakfast is not required at all as the same is not made available on the premises. They need to go back to the old pricing without breakfast ss the breakfast served at Bharat cafe is mediocre. Wake up Mr Minister for Tourism . Be practical. Don't kill the hen that lays the golden egg.Be practical.

Very good and well maintained hotel near Madgaon railway station. Economy AC rooms are small but nice and clean. This hotel is owned by the Government of Goa. I had to wait around 1 hour to check in at reception of this hotel.

I had worst experience here... Ladies staff is so rude... she don't have manners how to talk with their guest... There are always power cut issues and they have no power back solution... I booked a room here for 1 night and I paid 2000 There was a power cut at night Then I asked the ladies receptionist and she told me there are always power cut issue here And I asked again when the power would come back and she rudely told me how can I tell you... And she angrily cut my phone... I asked the ladies receptionist for wifi and she again rudely told me that there is no wifi service... don't i know This hotel has 6 floors... and they provide TV in the room and they can't provide wifi service to their guests? When I booked the room and they said they provide wifi... Then why can't this lady receptionist give me wifi service... I paid 2000 per night here and they don't provide wifi here? Don't waste time and money here... They need to hire polite receptionists...

Margao Residency is best Hotel to stay at Margao, South Goa. I stay with my family every year in the winter. Hotel is the property of goa state.This is budget Hotel.It is near to Margao Railway Station. Cleanliness is very good. Staff is courteous. Madam VISHAKA AND MR.GANESH are EXCELLENT in every respect. A Restaurant is also available.

The fan is slow. TV is not working. I went there during mid May with 2 friends. Non AC room at 2400 for 3 persons and 3200 for AC (including tax). Room is clean. The bathroom is also clean. They show room rent without tax. Addnl tax of 25% applies.

Margao tourist hostel. Rebranded and renovated. Nice place.

Room booked flush doesn't work Need to keep on calling the reception but after a long time someone will answer but no help Attitude of the person at the reception is worst he talk very rudely No manners he can't even address his guest properly he will call you "tu" Made me change three rooms I had pack then unpack again pack and unpack Should I not enjoy vacation only do this "pack and unpack" Door locks are very old And for real you don't have privacy I will tell you why You can peep from out from the key hole
