IRCTC Railway Retiring Rooms, Madgaon

We have booked 6 ac dormitories but space was not cleaned. Bed and linen were old and found unhygenic. Toilet was very smelly. Front office staff was not at all friendly and professional in his role. Location of retiring room is ideal and located conveniently. For Rs. 300 it is worth but it has to clean accordingly.

Worst experience.|Better to use the free toilet and waiting area.|They have bouncers as staff.|They follow you even into the toilet to check if there is water spilt on the floor.|There is no complaint book available to raise the complaint. Don't spoil your vacation mood by using the service.

I had booked a Deluxe AC double room for 3hrs from 10am to 1pm for my wife who was traveling by Rajdhani superfast express from Thiruvananthapuram thatwassupposedtoarriveat10am. As usual, the train arrived late by 40 minutes. Then we reached the retiring room just before 11am, tired of travel and badly in need of some rest before we moved on. But to our shock, the receptionist asked us to wait for 5 minutes telling that the room is being cleaned. We waited until 11.15 but there was no sign of the fellow asking us to occupy the room. Finally we had to raise our voice telling him that the room had to be kept ready by 10am since the reservation was from 10am to 1pm. But to our dismay, Instead of being apologetic, the receptionist blamed us for coming late. Finally, we got the room R5 (105) in place of R4 that I had booked. What he did with R4 is any body's guess. I tried to contact the service provider Dinshaw and Ranjit Hotels but in vain. I went to the station manager to complain and he was not to be found in his office. Worst experience.

Very impressive. Very convenient, just on the 1st platform, for those who are on a short duration visit - business, private function, etc. AC, HOT water clean room, regret Could not stay more than an hour or so - in and out. You can plan perfectly - keep the belongings - freshen up - make your appearance wherever it may be - leave - Thank you so much!!!

Spacious rooms with a perfect location at a budget-friendly price. Conveniently situated on Platform One, above Benjoe Restaurant, this spot offers an ideal place to relax before catching your train, making it both practical and comfortable.

Not a good experience at the retiring room.. Suspicious illegal entry seems to happen by the staff persons even if the door was locked... Slippers marks seen on bed as person might have entered from the sliding window when door was locked... Such a worst thing about here. I would like to rate zero star..

Rooms were spacious, but cleanliness was nil. Cockroaches were running around all over the rooms and other small insects also. Otherwise rooms were ok

I recently booked an AC deluxe room in the Madgaon retiring room for few hours during the waiting in station and my experience was extremely disappointing. Although the room was spacious, it was not clean at all. I could see cockroaches running around, and the toilet was also filthy. The mattress covers appeared unchanged, and the carpet seemed like it had never been cleaned. Additionally, there was no regulator for the fan, making it impossible to adjust. Overall, it was a zero-star experience.
