Govt Rest House

Badly managed. Lack of service staff. It is far away from the city center. No tea, breakfast or food available. Not even fresh drinking water is provided.

Location is not mentioned correctly on maps. The tariff is 600rs per day. You need prior permission/booking for staying here. The form for which is available on Google. The guest house has spacious clean rooms. The bathrooms is good and clean too. I'd say a great place to stay on a budget. The restaurant food is okayish though and still expensive. Would recommend you to eat outside if you can.

Cancel your goa plan if you are planning to stay here and even if you do stay here by mistake, make sure you don't hurt the small ego of the contractor and Ik how pathetic that sounds. Unprofessional Poor rooms Worst service Go to daman instead

Good interior, well dressed staff and service. Tandoori items and North Indian food items are superb. Lavished on butter chicken and naan Crispy chicken is good with sufficient quantity Fried rice was having the stock smell so didn't enjoyed it

We had the Fish Thali here. It was excellent. What I liked best was the taste of around 10 curries in the Thali. Very authentic traditional Goan taste. With green coloured curry and and lots of coconut. Different from the more popular Goan food that is flavoured by the Portuguese influence. I think the difference is in the type of chili used. The Portuguese variants have a red masala.

Excellent . But far away from beaches . The nearest beach is Colva approximately 8 km from the holiday home. Except the distance the holiday home is just excellent . Specious room with balcony with attached bathroom with counter shower.

Staffs are very impolite especially the Contractor Of the place (Straight Deal). He was telling he is the owner the place. Most of the rooms are shabby, AC not working. The contractor is using rooms for themselves. Asset of the government has turned to a very poorly managed Liability.
