Cozy Woods Hill Resort North Goa

We had a fantastic stay at Cozy Woods! The views were breathtaking, the pool was perfect for relaxing, and the cottages were charming. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We have rented this place twice for two occassion involving more than 15 people. Both times experience was good, we had a good pool experience. Rooms were sufficiently well maintained, and the staff were helpful in arranging barbeque equipments and other arrangements.

I wouldn't book this place in my lifetime. Very worse experience! We went to visit the saint during the exposition from November 30th until December 4th and were there in Goa during our Saint's feast. I had booked this place two months in advance and specifically requested for the cottage near the entrance so that my aged parents need not climb up the hill. When we reached the place, we were given the cottage at the very top. Even though I told multiple times that my mother is old and cannot climb up, there was no empathy and they kept repeating that all the rooms are full. Alas I had to make both my parents climb up the hill every time we returned from church as our sole purpose was to go to church every day of our stay. The worst thing was the owner didn't even show his face even, it was to him whom I spoke when I made the advance payment over the phone. His assistant or employee kept saying he is out when I told I want to speak with him directly since he only agreed to give the cottage I selected. Secondly on the day we checked in, we asked for a taxi to the church and was charged an exorbitant amount of Rs.500 just for an approx. 5 minute drive. From the next day onwards we were able to get an auto for Rs. 150, this made me truly believe they are hand in glove with the taxi drivers and charge such high amount and get commission also from the drivers (i don't see any other explanation, they truly exploit foreigners and other state folks especially those who don't speak local language or Hindi). On the last couple of days, we wanted to explore Goa and again requested for rent a car (there was no uber service to that place). Again they arranged for a very old car with no mileage for Rs.2500 per day. When we took the car, we clearly explained that they have to come and get it themselves but while returning we were told to return it to their shed or owner's place. They don't even consider that we are tourists and the parents are aged, so how in the world can we walk back such a long distance from their car shed to our cottage (again none of the cottage staff spoke to our favour and the rental guy deducted Rs.200 for his petrol charge to come and take away the car). All this issue with transport came because of a blatant lie by the owner when I booked the cottage two months in advance. I specifically asked him if it is walkable distance to church and again and again told him that am visiting with my aged parents and we come only as a pilgrimage because of our faith and to see the saint as it will be another 10 years wait before we can come again. After explaining all this, the response I got from the owner was "Madam, I also am a Catholic and there is no cheating business here, the church is very near and is walkable". In this age and time, I really feel sad that one cannot trust someone from even our own Catholic community and maybe all of them are money oriented. Kindness, sympathy and compassion is long lost. My desire to visit Goa as a tourist is also lost though I may go again for our Saint's sake but will never stay at this place nor will recommend to any of my friends or family in the south.

Rooms are good, well maintained. The restaurant in house has limited but decent food. It has a pool too. It just felt way too inside and no shops nearby. The staff provided his bike to go and get something from outside when we needed it.

The stay was amazing. The cabin was well kept and clean. The service was excellent and very cordial. The pool was clean and nice. The location is close to Bom Jesus church. But a little far from other tourist attractions, but it was good to have a restful and peaceful vacation.

This place was nice but no service. Plain rooms were allotted to us where we had to climb stairs. Senior citizens and people problem with legs should avoid. Team is helpful.

Well maintained place had a great time here they have their own restaurant too.. food was nice.. give place a try.

An amazing and cozy spot, perfect for families and couples alike. The stay was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the owners were warm and welcoming. The property was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended!
