Went there after 5 years, the quality has drastically fallen down, specially the toilets had stains the rooms had this damp smell the sheets were dirty and over-all room was dusty seemed like it had not been opened for a while. I hope Staff improves the quality as i had a great time there when I went there in 2019.

I wish I had anything below 1 star. Worst hotel. Looks like a graveyard in total. Booked and checked in for a day but had to check out in 1 hour after paying 1700 rupees. People pls do not visit this place it is real bad.

This has been worst stay of my lifetime. We were offered to stay in fully smoked rooms when we paid for non smoke. We reached out to owner and she was useless to not offer us any better room but room / Air freshener. Beds / sheets were worst with all the stains dont know of what. I am glad we had to stay only b/w 1am & 5 am when we had to check out to take a flight near by. Guy at the front desk seemed willing to help but he has no authority. Worst Hotel / and worst management ever. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointing Oyo Hotel Stay At hotel Maharaja in vasco (Goa) I recently booked a stay at this hotel through Oyo, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Initially, I intended to pay the hotel directly, but upon arrival, they demanded more money. I eventually had to pay through Oyo. The staff at the reception displayed extremely poor behavior and were unwilling to provide basic amenities like water bottles. They even expressed their displeasure because I had booked the room at a discounted rate through Oyo. According to them, the room would typically cost 2000 rupees, but I had reserved it for 1300 rupees. However, despite their claims of a 2000 rupee room, I was left deeply disappointed with the overall quality of the room and the state of the toilet. In light of this experience, I would strongly advise against considering this hotel for your stay. It falls far short of expectations, and I would rate it with zero stars.

Not a luxury stay but great value for money. Staff extremely attentive and friendly - we were offered a choice of rooms on arrival and they were very accommodating about receiving breakfast a little earlier the next day due to our early train. Room spacious and clean: ac, tv and fan all working fine. Had lunch in the hotel restaurant where again, we received excellent service, and the food was great. All in all, no complaints - would recommend!

Starting with the rate, it was affordable and cheep for the services they are providing. They gave a good warm welcoming, but checking in took little time as they wanted to verify all the documents. Room attendant carried our luggages and took us to the room, room was a nice one as we booked one room for three people they have already arranged one additional mattress. Additional to that, they have also provided compliment breakfast which was really good. Views from the room was not that great but it was oke since the hotel is in between some other buildings, we could see only concrete all-over. This hotel is at a walkable distance of 500m from both Vasco da Gama bus stand and railway station.

If there is negative point to be given I would had done. Hotel / Resort is known for their hospitality industry. But in this hotel the staff don't have even 1%. We stayed there for 3 nights and amount was in advance. So no choice to go anywhere else. We checked in to the hotel around 8 PM after a long journey and the front lady staff made us to wait for more than 20 min. Since I too belong from hospitality industry so I can understand the delay. After reaching room it was clean but bathroom left out hairs of somebody else was already there and always oyo provide toilet kit where the body lotion was missing. Even I thought it's okay since this are the small issue which can happen in any budget hotel. For night we ordered half chicken tandoori and tandoori roti which they take almost an hour to serve but still we didn't said anything. The food was tasty and we appreciate that. Second day I only said i dont need any housekeeping since that day I was alone in the room and didn't want anyone to get inside the room. But they need to have a courtesy at least to give the items which are complimentary but they didn't. Afternoon I ordered Chicken briyani and Lime soda, still same it came almost after an hour. When I took that food i got to know it was last day food which they had served me and salty. I tried my best but I throw it and just had lime soda. Even this I didn't said to my husband nor gave any complaint thinking why to create a scene when we came for holiday. Third day neither the housekeeping called us nor our room was cleaned after we came from our outside. My husband said leave it just one night to spend so why to disturb them. He called the restaurant and order the same food but increased the quantity instead of half chicken tandoori change to full and instead of 2 tandoori roti made it 3. After 30-40 min of that call I went to washroom to get fresh and after few min I heard my husband shouting at someone. Once that person left I stepped out from washroom and got to know he had served the food but quality was half , the same like first day. After few min a young boy came and introduce himself as manager of restaurant. My husband told him what should be the quantity of one full chicken tandoori since he has more than 17 years of experience in different field and in hospitality industry itself more than 5 years. He is the person who has tasted every kind of dishes. But that manager was arguing no Sir this is the standard quantity and you have to sign the food receipt. My husband shouted at him and ask to call the front manager but there was no front manager. After few min that restaurant manager and his staff came inside the room. No mannerism to knock the door. I got so irritated because manager came to room fine but his staff he too came inside without any manners. I told them to take away those food and leave from the room but that so called uncultured low level staff, he only took the chicken and left roti and asked my husband to sign on the food receipt. I just shouted on the manager and said to take this roti also and get out from the room. He took and left. Morning I had an early flight so didn't want to make any fuss in the reception and thought this is the best place to let people know specially ladies since this guys don't have a 1% manners.
