The other bad reviews are TRUE The guys who work here are not friendly at all, you ask them a question like, clean towel and ask nicely that they clean the room because lots of sand and it looks like you just offended them. They just act very cold towards guests. The room is OK ish, had to ask several times for water to be turned on, good AC, very comfortable bed. But the room is very dark and the lighting is not good. I also saw cockroaches in the bathroom.. toilet wouldn't flush at all so I had to use a bucket of water to flush it each time.. I ate at the restaurant once and the curry was like water, not tasty at all. The owner is useless. You ask him to help with some things and price and he just asks you to 'ask raj' yeah ok, so I'm supposed to guess who raj is??? Right. Honestly just stay on palolem beach it's so much better and way more to do, beware the sister hotel on palolem beach of this hotel is 'coco beach resort' AVOID seriously. I gave 2 stars just because the bed was really nice and the AC that was it.

I'm deducting a star because the water ran out several times, which was a bit irritating. However, they did explain how to turn on the motor to get the water, as it was nearby. A perfect 10 for the location. Service was pretty good, but the food and bar shut down a bit early. Still, you can chill on the beach chairs out front for as long as you like. Overall, it's a decent place to stay.
We did not stay in this location. Just visited the restaurant a few times - Good affordable food, drinks, ambiance and perfect spot to catch the sunset or to chill at the beach. The highlight that made us go back there was Sebastian who worked there - a good hearted human, always smiling!
Good location, first shack when you enter the beach. Descent clean rooms for the price you pay. Service can be better. No parking, you have to use public paid parking few 100 meters away.
If you love the sea then try this place. You will have a perfect view of the Sea. This beach is a very calm and perfect place to relax. The rooms were not that great but Ok. Service was not perfect but OK. Parking is not available but will get paid parking nearby.
The location is serene and inviting, with a wonderful ambiance and excellent hospitality. The sea view, accompanied by crystal-clear waters, adds to the charm. You can enjoy delicious meals right below the hotel, served with exceptional service. The only issue we encountered was with the bathroom lock; otherwise, everything was perfect for a relaxing stay most recommended.
Short Summary: STAY AWAY. Detailed review: I will start with the most positive aspect which is location. 5/5 there. Booking experience 5/5. I went via a 3rd party website - a smooth ride of calling them, sharing details, making online transfer of only 20% advance. And that's where all good experiences end. FOOD 2/5 - Average food overall (5 meals out of 4 days stay). Stand out mentions - Barbecued Jumbo prawn was undercooked on one occasion. Mattar-aaloo had undercooked potato and masala not fully done. Requested beans not-on-toast but was served on-toast, not just without an apology but with 'what to do, that's how the chef did it' before casually walking away. SERVICE 1/5 - Outwardly the service men are nice and proactive but it is not such in practice. I requested a towel and had to wait for 2 hours for the same. On 3 occasions the taps got dry completely, twice while taking shower and once in the middle of the night. Requested tea at 12 noon and received the same at 1 pm. Requested tea once sitting in the restaurant, but the tea was sent to the room. The only positive in this category was the proactive cleaning lady. ROOM 1/5 - very small rooms. The property was listed as 452 sq ft. This was unrealistic and misleading as the room I stayed in was no larger than 100 sq ft. They mentioned an extra mattress can be provided upon request (which they did easily) but the room is too small for that. Once the mattress is laid out, there is less than a foot free space to walk. My room was supposed to be sea-view but the metal guard railing in front was used by the property for drying towels and bedsheets for almost the whole day. My room was on level 1/1 and the whole structure rested on wooden planks where anyone walking anywhere would feel like a thud and fast walking would shake the bed. The floor planks had gaps large enough to see through the restaurant below. For the same reason there were lizards and cockroaches all over. Despite the window and door being closed, insects easily kept coming inside. The room had no drawer, hooks or hangers. There were 2 makeshift slabs though for keeping stuffs but were shaky, unstable and feeble. Definitely not for keeping luggage. The washroom had zero ventilation or exhaust fan. In terms of cleanliness, it was good though. BUSINESS 0/5 - This review is strictly for the owner. Your employees are losing you money. We had 5 meals but was provided bills for only 3. I mentioned and insisted thrice that the bills are incomplete and that many things have not been added. I waited for an hour for the correction to be done, but apparently no records were kept properly and hence no billing.
Affordable beach side cottages. Booked during the peak Christmas season, still the price was very reasonable. The restaurant provides a nice view of Patnem Beach. Really liked the taste of their food.
