We reached this hotel at night at 1 AM. Fully tired. After getting into the room we saw there were huge numbers of bed bugs, stinking smell, It was a nightmare, and the attitude of hotel staff was like, he openly said, even if I call the Police he will not do any refund as if they already have an agreement with them. It was a nightmare for us. We left the hotel room at 2 AM and ended up sleeping in the car because we didn't get any other hotel or room at night. And you see in all other reviews you will not get any refund for their great service.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Do Not Recommend I had an incredibly frustrating stay here. Firstly, despite being told the room would be ready by 10 AM when I called earlier that day, we had to wait for over an hour past the check-in time of 12:30 PM. While waiting at the reception, I observed that other guests arriving after us were promptly given rooms, and when we inquired, the staff couldn't provide any reasonable explanation. I had paid in full in advance, yet upon room allocation, I was asked to pay again. There is a complete lack of proper management and organization here. As for the room itself, it was in a terrible state. The bed was the only thing that seemed fine. Everything else was either broken or dysfunctional: the TV didn't work, the main door latch was broken, the bathroom lock was missing, the shower knob was faulty, and despite having a geyser, there was no hot water. To make matters worse, several power sockets were broken, and there was no power backup during an outage. On top of this, there was no breakfast provided, and even the most basic item -- drinking water -- came at an extra charge of 5 rupees above MRP. Water is essential for guests, and it should be offered freely, especially considering the price we paid. Overall, my experience here was highly disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone. They really need to address maintenance issues, improve customer service, and re-evaluate their pricing policies.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Hotel service is really good. We had tried this restaurant and Taste wise good. Tea also really good compared to other hotels here fully satisfied. Dinner also really good. Overall everything was nice. I can see plenty of parking also. Only thing was too many receptionist are there and they wrongly booked the dates and finally issue is resolved. Make sure you are booking the right dates and check in timing as well. If clock room is available this will be perfect hotel. Swimming pool also available here. Good place for relaxing with friends and family. Even we came with family looks good to stay here. Overall restaurant and swimming pool and clean room. Looks everything is good.

Worst rooms in Goa and not providing clean rooms. Full bed bugs in the rooms unable to sleep. Don't book this these kind of resorts in case of emergency total money waste.

Water heater is not operational . TV is not operational . Cleanliness is very poor. Service by counter managers is very poor. Intercom in rooms is not operational. Overall a poorly maintained Hotel. You can think it for bachelors. Don't go here for family. Calangute beach is 1.7 km far. They managed us to provide parking but it's difficult. Swimming tank is available. But not well maintained. Two buildings are here for rooms. The only thing we appreciate is that air conditioners in the rooms were operational all time. A Nightmare Stay at Shivam Resort - Completely Misleading on Booking.com Recently, my friends and I had a terrible experience at Shivam Resort, which I had booked via Booking.com. Listed under 4-star hotels, we had certain expectations, but what we encountered was far from it - in fact, this place wasn't even deserving of a single star. From the moment we arrived, the disappointment was evident. The staff, who are supposed to be the face of the resort, were completely clueless about their responsibilities. Their behavior was not just unprofessional but downright rude and dismissive. It was clear they lacked basic training, and their attitude made the already bad experience even worse. Despite paying approximately 8,000 per day, the resort failed to provide even the most basic amenities. There was no neat or tidy room waiting for us - the beds were filthy, the furniture was in shambles, and the bathrooms were comparable to those you'd find in a rundown lodge. To top it off, we weren't even offered a single bottle of complimentary water. The entire property seemed like a scam, as if it were falsely advertised to lure unsuspecting guests. It was nothing short of a shock to find such a mismanaged and poorly maintained place listed as a 4-star hotel. Frustrated and utterly disappointed, we decided to move out the very next day. Thankfully, we found a nearby hotel that charged less but offered far superior standards, excellent facilities, and impeccable service. Our experience at Shivam Resort was not just disappointing - it felt like a deliberate attempt to deceive travelers. I urge others to avoid this place and hope Booking.com reviews its listings more rigorously to prevent such scams from tarnishing the trust of its users.

Scammer of the year award winner. The property listed is no where near it's standards as per the listing. Horrible quality of rooms, the stay is just not the resort kinda stay and maintenance is improper. They have been posting the pictures of some other property to bluff with the customers and actual name of the place is Ss residence not Shivam resort. The place stinks and the rooms are filled with cockroachs and poor quality of beds and mattresses. Disappointed with the experience and the way this property has been scamming the tourists with fake images on the portals

The resort is affordable but get ready to experience delayed services, minor problems in the rooms, the property is old and also it's 20 mins walk from the beach.
