Antara Goa

Iam Vishnu and have been to Antara Resort. The place is v good. The staff is v polite & helpful specially Jhonny and Nishant, all the support, will definitely suggest this place. One suggestion. The outside of the rooms need a good painting, specialy room entrance doors. But the place is awesome..

Antara is at wonderful location which is accessible to beach and market also. Yet the breakfast buffet is as awesome one can expect. Although location is also nice. Market is nearby, beach is nearby, some other restaurants are nearby, you can rent a bike/active. It's open 24x7 . Although rooms are quite nice but washrooms are not maintained as per latest interior design. Staff is also nice and friendly. Cats are also there. In terms of facilities, large pool is there with kids one, Towels and shower is there. Robs are not provided. Dinning area is separate which is nice. Fully A.c, with attached toiletries. Checkin is also very smooth. If you are from North, this place is for you.

The concept of cottages with lots of greenery around, a swimming pool as soon as you step out of your cottage; this is really good, however not maintained properly. Room walls, doors, washrooms, etc have broken parts, cracks, and damaged paint. There were insects and cockroach in a few rooms. The staff was not polite and lacked the warmth and hospitality feel. Food was just average. Location is great, walking distance to the closest beach. Lot of eateries around. If a few things are worked upon, Antara could be among the top recommended within the locality. Recommended.

For the price, this hotel offered great value. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the staff were very accommodating. The cottages itself was a bit outdated, but it was clean and functional. We would definitely stay here again, especially if they updated the cottages a bit.

The images of club cottage was shown for executive rooms while booking were as the executive room is much smaller with limited facility. The bed was not in a good condition and giving us back ache. The Bathroom Taps are still has old mechanism with leakage issue. Room has a small geyser it hardly gives 2 liter's of hot water. The rooms surrounding from the backside was very dirty hence we couldn't step out to the balcony. The breakfast menu was limited taste was not up to the mark and one of the waiter's service was very poor.

Staying in Antara Resort was a wonderful experience! The resort is just a short 5-minute walk from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for us to enjoy the sea anytime. The wooden cottages are charming, offering a peaceful and relaxing ambiance amidst lush greenery. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had a comfortable stay. The pool area was great for unwinding, and the multi-cuisine restaurant served delicious meals. For anyone looking for a serene getaway near the heart of Goa's vibrant beach scene, Antara Resort is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it for couples and families alike!

First they didn't let my sister check in because she arrived before me, despite my sister having my id cards and every other booking details. second they don't let any visitor walk past their reception counter, forget about entering the rooms or lobby. The behaviour of the reception staff is very rude and unethical, same goes to the manager(Puja) and Owner(Eknath). I have visited Goa several times but this hotel is the worst experience ever on any of my travel list. don't fall for the pictures, it's unsafe and rooms are below average and unhygienic.
