Jolan's Guest House

Rooms are clean but ac , TV, kettle are not functioning.only fan is working there properly. I found it is not value for money. And from nearby hotel all noise came to this property.

I simply loved my stay at Jolan Guest house. It is very conveniently located close to Dabolim Airport and a mere 4-5 mins walking distance from Bogomalo beach. The rooms are spacious and provided all necessary amenities even a fridge. The rooms were well ventilated and clean. Wifi service was great as well. The staff is also very polite and they helped me a great deal in arranging for transport and late check in. The food is also delectable. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay there.

I simply loved this place!!! Though i stayed there just for few hours as it was kind of an intransit stay ( being close to airport). Checked in around 2pm Checked out at 4 am. Food is out of the world,staff is attentive and smiling. Vibe is cool..place is homely!! They forgot to charge me for a chicken burger ..please let me know the amount if you are reading this review!! Their rooms remind me of my own home in jaipur,big and spacious!! It is a true value for money place!! And i am come there again very soon!! Just a friendly tip: Some guests were really loud between 11.30pm - 1.00 am. They were drinking and being abusive with each other. It was so disturbing that we couldn't sleep!!

I stayed here solo for a couple of nights and was completely satisfied with it. The check in was super quick, the room was very basic but was clean and served the purpose. The bathroom was clean as well. Room service were efficient and cleaned my room up everyday. |Also it is a 2 minute walk from the bogmalo beach |Only used to have breakfast here in the morning and it was fine. |Don't expect anything specatcular,it is a simple clean budget place and it serves the purpose of having a clean bed to sleep in!

Located 2 min walk from bogmalo beach. Room cleaning service can be improved. AC is not working properly.

Booked 1 room for business purpose for 2 nights. Was amazed to see that this guest house is better and cheaper then most of the guest house near by. Rooms were as good as shown in website. They have restaurant with bar. Which serves amazing food as cheap as any other outlets around. Beach is minute walkable and can be seen from balcony. I was completely satisfied with amount paid and it was worth every penny. I am visiting them again.

We booked a taxi to the airport with them at 2.15am for our flight home and they confirmed with us twice. Got to reception at 2.10 and no signs of life for 40 minutes. Banged on every door but no staff, no Taxi. Had to end up walking to the airport with suitcases in tow in the middle of the night (35 min walk up with very steep bits). Nearly missed our flight. Unbelievable. Restaurant was not open for the day we were there, WiFi didn't work, no mosquito net and no soap on the bathroom either. Don't trust Jolans guest house! Useful for proximity to airport... even if you have to end up walking there. Bogmalo is not a nice place either (overpriced and very leery men and hawkers)- recommend just getting a Taxi from palolem or wherever you are staying in Goa, really not worth a stay in Bogmalo.

This is the worst place to stay in Bogmalo, we were put in a room at the back of the hotel facing a building site which work is apparently going to continue for another six months.||The bulldozers and Jack hammers started at 8am and didn't finish till 5pm daily. We asked to be moved to another room but the manager refused saying the hotel was full although we didn't see one other guest in the deserted building. When we arrived we checked in at the 'Bar' Reception, there was not one bottle on the bar and the whole place looked like a ghost ship. The staff were not at all helpful. Be aware if you are looking for a restful holiday this is certainly not the place to stay.||The balcony overlooking the building site was also infested with ants so you could not even step outside without them covering and biting your feet.
